The Lott winner’s major mistake that could stop them getting $1million prize

The race is on to find a mystery lotto winner who has just one week left to claim his $1 million prize or lose it.

The winning ticket was purchased at a BP in Adelaide’s northern suburb of Mawson Lakes on September 27, 2023, but the winner has yet to come forward to claim the prize.

“It’s likely that our mystery winner just went about his year, with no idea that he became an overnight millionaire almost a year ago,” she said.

Can you imagine unknowingly holding the golden ticket worth $1 million in your hands for an entire year?

“We’re just a few days away from Friday’s deadline, and our mystery millionaire is still out there. Lottery winners in South Australia have just 12 months left to claim their prize, and time is running out,” explained Khat McIntyre, spokesperson for The Lott.

The ticket was not linked to an account, meaning the winner could lose their money.

“This also serves as an important reminder to register your tickets. If this ticket had been registered, we would have already matched the winner with their $1 million prize.

The winning numbers in Lotto draw 4325 held on Monday and Wednesday, September 27, were 15, 41, 14, 35, 4 and 5, while the additional numbers were 20 and 37.

Winnings must be claimed within 12 months of the draw date. Deadline is this Friday.

“If you discover you have the winning ticket, please contact The Lott immediately on 131 868 to start the process of claiming your prize,” Ms McIntyre said.
