Resurfaced video shows Kamala Harris protesting against deporting migrants with disgraced celebrity
Vice President Kamala Harris now promises to secure the border, but when she was a California senator, she was a fierce opponent of deporting illegal immigrants.
Harris joined a crowd of protesters at a parade in Los Angeles in 2018, chanting “Down, down with the decorations!” in a video obtained exclusively by the Daily Mail.
Harris was named grand marshal of the 33rd annual parade, which is normally held to honor the legacy of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.
But left-wing political forces used the occasion to celebrate their own political goals, including the ‘Times up!’ movement, in which women protested against sexual harassment and discrimination in the workplace.
The topic of immigration enforcement was also raised during the parade, with the Grand Marshal joining in chanting slogans in praise of illegal immigration without consequences.

“Up, up, down with education, down, down with deportation!” she chanted enthusiastically with the group of activists at her side, clapping her hands, pointing and smiling.
Harris was accompanied by members of her family, including her husband Doug Emhoff and his daughter Ella Emhoff, who captured the event on her iPhone.
Other prominent figures joining her in the parade included former rising television star Jussie Smollet, who starred in the series Empire, a fictional story about a battle for control of a hip-hop production company.
Smollet, wearing sunglasses and a Times Up T-shirt, held a young girl and joined Harris in the crowd of protesters.

In January 2019, Smollet was found guilty of committing a fake hate crime after falsely claiming he was attacked by two men wearing MAGA hats, who poured bleach on him and put a noose around his neck.
Harris described the attack on social media as an “attempted modern-day lynching” in a post that she has still not removed, even after Smollet’s claim has been thoroughly debunked.
Harris continued her goal of reducing deportations once in the White House.
According to data released by ICE, the Biden administration’s actions during its time in office resulted in a 67 percent decrease in the number of deportations of criminal aliens compared to the Trump administration.
In the first three years of the Trump administration, ICE has removed 485,930 illegal aliens with criminal seizures or pending criminal charges.
However, the Biden-Harris administration has expelled only 158,931 aliens with criminal or pending charges.
Harris has sounded the alarm over Trump’s pledge to resume deportations of criminal illegal immigrants, warning of “mass deportation” camps.
“They have committed to carrying out the largest deportation, a mass deportation, in American history,” Harris said during a speech at an event hosted by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, the congressional nonprofit group.
“How is this going to happen, huge raids? Huge detention camps?” she said. “What are they talking about?”
Trump said he would prioritize criminal illegal immigrants for deportation first, in a interview with journalist Sharyl Attkisson.
“We’re going to get the criminals out and we’re going to do it quickly, and we know who they are,” Trump said
He spoke about the dangers of allowing unchecked illegal immigration into the United States.
“We are not a dumping ground. We are going to get all these people out and we are going to get them out quickly and we have no choice because that is not sustainable for any country,” he said.
