Sex symbol Wonder Woman star reveals she’s endorsing her sister’s rival in political race
The former star of the hit 1970s TV series Wonder Woman has announced that she will support her sister’s opponents in the race for the Arizona House of Representatives.
Lynda Carter, 72, known for her role as a superhero, has shocked her fans by publicly expressing her support for her sibling’s rivals in the upcoming race.
Carter used social media to endorse Democrats Karen Gresham and Kelli Butler over her Republican sister Pamela Carter, who would win the seats in District 4.
“As a born and raised Arizonan, I am proud to endorse @KelliButlerAZ and @KarenGreshamAZ for the two LD4 seats in the Arizona House of Representatives,” she announced on X last week.

“Kelli and Karen are both strong, experienced candidates, born and raised in Arizona. They are working mothers fighting for the rights that matter most to Arizonans, especially every child’s right to a quality education.”
Pamela, who is running for office against abortion, responded to her sister’s statement.
Following the news, she released a statement saying, “I love my sister, even though her political leanings are far left and we disagree on some issues.”
“That doesn’t change my feelings about her, so you won’t catch me criticizing her or smearing her in the press,” Pamela added.
Gresham responded to the approval in a video, saying, “That was very exciting. I felt very honored to have the approval from Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter.”
