What really happened to Diddy’s dead girlfriend Kim Porter as wild conspiracies swirl

As Sean “Diddy” Combs’ life comes under renewed scrutiny after he is charged with human trafficking and prostitution, wild theories arise about the death of his girlfriend Kim Porter.

Porter’s death came as a shock when, at the age of 47, she died on November 15, 2018, of pneumonia after suffering from flu-like symptoms for days before. Some have doubted that statement, including Donald Trump’s eldest son.

The model and actress was in an on-again, off-again relationship with Combs, 54, from around 1994 until their split in 2007. Together they had a son, Christian “King” Combs, now 26, and twin daughters D’Lila and Jessie, now 17.

Porter rarely spoke about her relationship with Combs, whom she discovered was expecting a child with a woman named Sarah Chapman, at the same time that she had twins. She claimed to still be friends with the music mogul after they broke up.

Wild theories about Porter’s time with Combs began to proliferate in April, however, following allegations made by Donald Trump Jr. And they reached a fever pitch following the release of a book days before Combs’ arrest, featuring what Porter’s friends call her incriminating diary entries.

Don Jr., the GOP standard-bearer’s eldest son, went on the AKADEMIKS podcast in April and claimed Porter was afraid of Diddy. He said he doesn’t believe she died of pneumonia.

He got his opinion on the subject from his ex-wife Vanessa Trump, who he said was a good friend of Porter.

He said that when Porter died, Vanessa called him and said, “There’s something wrong with him.”

‘[Porter] was really scared of [Diddy] …this goes back years, and she had these conversations with my ex…

“There aren’t many people who die at 47 from pneumonia… and I don’t want to fuel any rumors, but this is a conversation I had with someone who knew her well,” Trump Jr. said.

DailyMail.com has not confirmed any of Trump Jr.’s claims and Los Angeles authorities have ruled that Porter died of pneumonia resulting from a lung infection.

The short memoir, published September 6, takes the accusations against Diddy one step further.

Kim’s Lost Words, the 60-page book published days before Combs’ arrest, says Combs first hit Porter when she refused to use a strap-on on him.

The book also describes him as “a terrifying monster” when he threatened her with a gun in her own apartment.

Many of the allegations in the book were about her sex life with Diddy, with the two reportedly having an open relationship.

The book alleges that he filmed himself having sex with “young boys” in his care and that underage girls were present at the sex parties he organised.

In the final section of her memoir, Porter becomes seriously ill, sends her friends a dramatic text message saying “he’s got me,” and then calls 911.

The book’s Los Angeles publisher, producer Chris Todd, claims Porter shared a USB drive containing her writings with close friends. He obtained the drive and lightly edited it into a book under the pseudonym Jamal T Millwood.

Todd has not provided any documentary evidence to prove its authenticity, but he has offered paper copies for sale on Amazon.

The new focus on Porter’s death comes after prosecutors in the Southern District of New York accused Combs of staging elaborate, often days-long sex shows called “freak-offs” in which he forced his victims to have sex with male prostitutes.

Combs, who was denied bail, denies the charges. His lawyers argue the “freak-offs” were consensual.

According to prosecutors, the rapper also abused his victims to coerce their cooperation, including kicking, hitting and dragging them by their hair.

After CNN released footage in May showing Combs kicking and dragging his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura through the hallways of a Los Angeles hotel, he admitted what he had done and apologized.

“I’ve hit rock bottom, but I’m not making excuses,” he said of the shocking video.

Aside from Porter’s alleged diary entries, there is no hard evidence that the rapper ever abused Porter.

In conversation with Rolling Stone In June, her father Jake Porter, 78, told the magazine that he never witnessed Combs abusing his late daughter.

But when he saw the video of him hitting Cassie, he said, “I started wondering about that.”

“I guess you could say I was disgusted by the video, and I wouldn’t treat my enemy like that,” Jake Porter added. “It was despicable.”

Porter was photographed with Combs and their children in the months before her death.

The two even spent Mother’s Day together in 2018 and were still functioning co-parents to their three children.

“We remain committed to our children even though we cannot be committed to each other,” Porter once said.

Porter didn’t provide much insight into why her relationship with Combs ultimately failed, though Combs told Essence in 2006 that he wasn’t ready to marry her.

“In ending this relationship, I have made a decision that was in the best interest of myself, Sean, and our family. I look forward to moving forward with my life and career and wish him prosperity, health, and happiness in life and in love. We will remain friends and devoted parents to our children,” Porter said in a statement after the couple parted ways for the final time.
