Exposed – dating app predator Anton Smolin’s secret criminal history and grubby sex boasts

EXCLUSIVE

A sex offender who denied brutally assaulting women he met on dating apps was recently convicted of using a mobile phone to threaten, harass or insult people.

Electrical engineer and self-confessed psychopath Anton Smolin committed the crime in Sutherland, Sydney’s south, in February last year and was found guilty in January.

Smolin attempted to have the case quashed in Downing Centre District Court in March, but after withdrawing that request he was convicted and given a $500 bail for two years.

Daily Mail Australia can now also reveal how Smolin described his sexual encounters with women in Eastern Europe in a disturbing ‘seduction guide’.

Smolin has a history of sending venomous messages to women he met on dating apps, calling them “fat pigs” and “bitches,” a claim that was exposed by Daily Mail Australia late last year.

The 43-year-old man subsequently sued the publication for defamation in the New South Wales District Court, but admitted his claim was doomed when he learned that a book he had published, entitled Seduction Chronicles of a Psychopath, would form part of the defence.

Smolin had done everything he could to keep his identity as the author of the book a secret. He sold the book on Amazon and got reviews on Goodreads.

Judge Judith Gibson on Thursday ruled in Daily Mail Australia’s defamation case and ordered Smolin to pay costs estimated to run into six figures.

Despite Smolin’s complete capitulation and the sentence passed against him, the misogynist still fights against further publication of the full contents of his book.

Smolin continues to deny writing Seduction Chronicles of a Psychopath, even though his name, photograph, and cell phone number appear in publicity for the work.

A recap of Smolin’s sordid adventures in Australia and beyond, including an orgy with a “toothless granny” and the “gangbang of a blindfolded and tied up girl”, is still being promoted online.

Smolin calls himself a psychopath “with virtually no empathy or moral or ethical standards of any kind” and admits to keeping an Excel spreadsheet of his “sexual conquests.”

Seduction Chronicles of a Psychopath contains material so disturbing that police will hand over a copy to investigate whether the film contains admissions that Smolin committed serious crimes.

A promotion on the Goodreads website, apparently written by Smolin, states that the book contains “hilarious, bizarre and interesting stories of seduction set in Australia and abroad.”

“The stories are all true and the events described all happened in real life,” Smolin said.

‘They are portrayed through the eyes of a psychopath, who has little empathy or moral or ethical standards.

‘I live in a different world. What seems bizarre and disturbing in your world may be a completely normal, everyday occurrence in my world.

‘Unlike fiction writers, I didn’t make things up to shock people. I just wrote it down as it is in real life.’

A press release listing Smolin’s name and phone number said the book, published in 2014, is a faithful account of his “extensive travels” through Eastern Europe.

“He writes about his steamy relationships with the girls he met, including drunken flings with multiple girls, prostitutes who agreed to sex without charge, late-night nude dates and nude beach dates,” the press release said.

The press release then includes summaries of some of Smolin’s sexual encounters in Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Estonia, Ukraine and Russia.

“While in Lithuania, Smolin became very intimate with an absolutely stunning ‘9/10’ target he had just met in an empty VIP nightclub,” it said.

‘He describes in detail, step by step, how the seduction took place (during the evening) from “Hello” until she put her hand in his pants in a public place.

‘In the Russian Federation, Anton invited two attractive young girls to the place where he was staying and had sex with one, while the other lay next to them and watched (in the same room).

‘A tall, beautiful redhead with big breasts at a nightclub in Belarus suggested they ‘go home’ together just a few hours after they met.

“She was not a prostitute, this was a perfect example of effective quick seduction techniques,” Smolin said.

Smolin also describes episodes of drunken and public sex.

“A girl in Latvia immediately after the first meeting (in the morning) suggested going to his house to get drunk,” the press release said.

‘Soon after entering Anton’s apartment, she took off her underwear, washed it in the bathroom and hung it up by the open window. They then drank three bottles of champagne together.

‘A 19-year-old girl who saw Anton while she was in Ukraine had sex with him on a public beach in the water, while people were swimming and sunbathing right next to them.

‘Smolin hired a private guide (a young girl from the region) to show him the tourist attractions of Latvia.

“He ended up making love to her at the top of a 13th-century castle tower. ‘Public sex is beyond reproach,’ Smolin declared.”

Smolin boasts in the press release that he has slept with 106 women — “not including hookers and other girls at sex parties” — and that more than 70 of those encounters have taken place in the past five years.

“I now live in a world of multiple girlfriends, threesomes, group sex and international pimping,” Smolin says.

‘I keep a detailed record of all my sexual conquests in a sophisticated Excel spreadsheet. I use it to create complex graphs and perform strategic data analysis.’

An article for Seduction Chronicles of a Psychopath on the Goodreads website, written by Smolin, mentions sexual acts that are too explicit to publish.

“Some content is explicit, some is very explicit,” he says.

‘If you would find it uncomfortable to read about… a four-person gangbang involving a girl who has one eye closed and is tied up, or an orgy involving 20+ people involving a granny with no teeth and a mentally handicapped person, then don’t read any further.’

Daily Mail Australia first exposed Smolin’s repeated abuse of women he met on dating apps in a story published in November last year, when he was deputy director of a Sydney engineering firm.

Four women came forward to tell about their dealings with Smolin and his habit of flying into a blind rage if they canceled or changed their dates.

Smolin sued Daily Mail Australia over a story published last year in which four women came forward to describe how Smolin became enraged when they canceled dates with him.

To one woman who decided not to meet her, Smolin said, “Get lost, you stupid, fat pig.” To another woman who declined a second date, Smolin said, “You’re such a stupid, lying bitch.”

Smolin denied that the exchanges had taken place and sued Daily Mail Australia for libel, saying the article damaged his reputation and unfairly portrayed him as a psychopath, sexual predator and misogynist.

While preparing to defend themselves against Smolin’s libel suit, the attorneys acting on behalf of the publication were given access to an electronic copy of his book.

After reading the 305-page Seduction Chronicles of a Psychopath, lawyers at Mark O’Brien Legal concluded they were legally obliged to forward it to the police, under the Crimes Act.

The book was obtained through a subpoena to Smolin’s then-employer, the engineering firm Erbas & Associates, who fired him after reading the story about his treatment of women.

Lawyers for Daily Mail Australia have presented evidence showing that before leaving his employer, Smolin asked the company to wipe the hard drive of his work computer, which it did.

Before Erbas wiped the hard drive, he had made a copy of all the documents Smolin had saved, including Seduction Chronicles of a Psychopath.
