Angelina Jolie reveals that ‘some’ of her 6 kids have tattoos already: ‘It’s personal to us’
Angelina Jolie has dozens of tattoos.
And on Friday, the 49-year-old actress revealed CR Fashion Book that ‘some’ of her six children also have ink.
Angelina and her ex-husband Brad Pitt have six children together – Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and 15-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
The topic came up when her interviewer Carine Roitfeld asked, “I’m just starting my tattoo journey. Can you tell me about your most recent tattoo and its meaning?”
Jolie said: ‘I got ‘Stay Gold’ with my daughter Viv during our time with The Outsiders. It means so much to us, individually and together.’
She then went on to say that “a few” of her other children had also gotten tattoos: “There’s also a bird that I share with some of my children that’s personal to us.”
Jolie debuted the bird tattoo in June at the Tony Awards in New York.

Friday also marks eight years since she filed for divorce from Pitt.
The Oscar winner looked stunning with her blonde, wild curly hair as she posed for photographers Luigi and Iango for CR magazine.
Jolie’s son Pax Jolie-Pitt also shared some behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot.
In the song, the Eternals actress talks about her side hustle, Atelier Jolie. ‘Over the years, I’ve seen that fashion is dictated by trends and by anointed tastemakers,’ says the mother of six.
“But turning inward and dressing for yourself, truly expressing yourself with creativity and ingenuity, is a useful rebellion in this modern age.”
And the Oscar winner said that while she can be serious, she also has a funny side: “I like to be silly and I love good stand-up comedy.”
Also in the magazine – which can be pre-ordered – Jolie said she hasn’t seen all her films yet.

Last August, she debuted mysterious ink on each of her middle fingers, applied by tattoo artist MR.K.
Jolie added that she is excited about the launch of Atelier Jolie because it is “exciting” to see what happens when “artists collaborate.”
Roitfeld asked her why she started Atelier Jolie.
“My intention was to build a space, a home really, where people can create and be inspired. The house is made up of artists and designers from all over the world, and at its core it’s an invitation to re-engage with design and community,” said the star, whose next film is about Maria Callas.
And she said that her late mother Marcheline Bertrand was her inspiration.
“My mother was a very internationally oriented, thoughtful woman, who often talked to me about injustice,” the Tomb Raider star said.
‘When I was in my twenties, I started traveling and realized how much I hadn’t learned in school and wasn’t aware of.
‘That’s when I started my education, or rather re-education. I started traveling to conflict zones and post-conflict zones. Listening. Learning. My worldview is strongly shaped by refugee families and I have so much respect for them. I hate it when I see the media and politicians using these families for their own gain. No one would choose that life. We are honored that Eat Off Beat is here. They are a collective of refugee chefs and it’s great to work with them.’
When asked what her mantra was, Jolie replied, “I don’t have a motto, but freedom has always been important to me. For myself and others.”
