Zayn Malik fans lose it after Gigi Hadid shares their daughter Khai’s full name in fourth birthday post

Fans are going wild when they find out Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s 4-year-old daughter shares his last name.

Gigi, 29, shared their daughter’s full name, Khai, in an emotional Instagram post on Thursday, along with a series of photos from her Baby Yoda party.

Their daughter’s name was revealed in a photo showing a Descendants-themed scroll that read “Khai Malik” and an invitation from King Ben and his “councilors” to take her to Auradon Prep, the school featured in the Disney TV movies.

Fans were excited that the model, who split from the One Direction star in 2021 at the age of 31, would finally share Khai’s last name, after previously dodging the question.

“THE 11TH PHOTO WHEN IT HAS KHAI MALIK ON IT,” one fan exclaimed.

“KHAI MALIK, STOP SNORTING,” wrote another.

“”Khai Malik” “Our Girl”,’ was one of the comments, succinctly stated.

“Khai Malik, how lucky she is!” exclaimed someone else.

It’s unclear whether Gigi’s current boyfriend, 49-year-old actor Bradley Cooper, or Zayn attended the party, as neither were seen in the photos.

But both Gigi and Zayn paid touching tributes to their daughter.

The model posted a series of snaps from the colorful party, accompanied by a glowing caption about her “adventurous” and “loving” daughter.

“Our girl turned 4 today and we celebrated all week!!! She loves animals (fabulous animals too), music, baby yoda, anything nature/bugs, Descendants, anything soft or small and if she can she’ll be in the water from sunrise to sunset,” she said.

‘She is curious, adventurous, loving and oh so witty… Khai – it is my greatest joy and pride to be your mother!!!!’

Zayn shared his own birthday wish for his daughter on Instagram.

He shared a photo of himself holding Khai on the beach and wrote: ‘Happy birthday to the most important person in my life.

“I love you more than words can express, more than proud to call you my daughter… grateful for every second I get to spend beside you as you grow into the incredible person I know you already are. Today, four years ago, my life changed forever and I would not be the man I am today without you.”

Gigi and Zayn dated for about five years. They welcomed their daughter in September 2020.

Reported tensions between Zayn and Gigi’s mother Yolanda eventually led to their divorce in October 2021.

Zayn was charged with four counts of harassment. He pleaded no contest to charges that he allegedly pushed Yolanda into a dresser and called her a “f*****g Dutch sl*t” in September 2021.

Gigi has since moved on with Bradley, who has a seven-year-old daughter with model Irina Shayk, 38. The two were first linked in October 2023.
