Lucy Letby 'told colleagues she had "mini meltdown" after the death of three babies

In a message she sent to a colleague at the end of June 2015, she said she was “dozing off” in a cinema. She added: ‘I had a mini meltdown last night about what happened at work…I just need some time with Mom and Dad’. Letby (left and right), 32, of Hereford, denies the murder of seven babies at Countess of Chester Hospital, Cheshire, and the attempted murder of another 10 babies. The Manchester Crown Court jury has heard that baby A, a boy, died on June 8, baby C, a boy, died on June 14 and baby D on June 22. It is alleged that Letby attempted to kill Baby A’s twin sister, Baby B, shortly after she was born on June 8. The court heard that on June 10, while Baby B was still recovering, her alleged attacker messaged a co-worker asking, “Will you let me know if anything changes?”
