Diddy makes bizarre promise as he begs judge to be let out of jail

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs made a bizarre promise to the judge in his sex trafficking case: He said he would not receive any female visitors if he was released on bail after his arrest.

Combs, 54, was arrested in New York on Monday and charged with years of coercion and abuse, using blackmail and violence to control his victims.

It also accuses the hip-hop mogul of inducing female victims and male sex workers to engage in sexual acts, sometimes for days and under the influence of drugs, which are called ‘Freak Offs’.

Combs, who pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, has now pledged to have minimal female visitors to his Miami Beach home if he is released on bail.

The star’s legal team demanded that Combs be released on $50 million bail and be placed under electronic surveillance, with his Miami home as collateral, after a Manhattan judge on Tuesday ordered him held without bail.

According to the bail request, visits would be limited to family members or mothers of his children, property managers and friends who are not accomplices in the federal indictment, TMZ reported. IThe details of all visitors to his home would be handed over to the government every night.

The restrictions are believed to address court concerns that he might contact or intimidate witnesses, including a ban on contact with known grand jury witnesses and a weekly drug test.

The indictment accuses Combs of using “power and prestige” to lure and intimidate women “under the pretense of a romantic relationship.”

He then allegedly used violence, threats and coercion to induce the women to engage with male sex workers in the “Freak Offs.” These shows were described as “elaborate and orchestrated sex performances” that Combs organized and directed while masturbating and often recorded the performances.

The indictment further alleged that some of the “Freak Offs” lasted for days and that Combs and his victims had to be given intravenous fluids to recover from the exertion and drug use.

The star's former on-again, off-again girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, also filed a claim against Combs, which was settled the day after it was filed.

The Public Prosecution Service said it had interviewed more than 50 victims and witnesses and expected that number to increase.

According to the Public Prosecution Service, narcotics, videos of the ‘Freak Offs’ and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant were seized during house searches earlier this year by police.

According to the indictment, Combs was violent, choking and pushing people, hitting and kicking victims, and sometimes dragging them by their hair, causing serious injuries.

Further, the court alleges that Combs sometimes kept videos of victims performing sexual acts and used the recordings as “collateral” to ensure their victims remained silent and compliant.

Combs is currently in custody in New York, where he will remain until his trial unless bail is granted.
