Charlie Puth MARRIES Brooke Sansone at his Montecito family home – one year after announcing their engagement: ‘It has always been you’

Charlie Puth has married Brooke Sansone, a year after they announced their engagement.

The hitmaker, 32, shared the happy news on Instagram on Tuesday, posting a series of wedding photos of him and the 25-year-old public relations coordinator. Fashion spread out, and a flowing caption.

The couple, who are honeymooning in Italy, married on September 7 at his parents’ home in Montecito, California.

“I love you Brooke… I always have, with you I am at my best. I promise to love you every day of this life, and even more as we move on to our next life,” he wrote in his post.

“Brooke Ashley Sansone, And now you’re Brooke Ashley Puth. Thank you for making me the happiest man on earth. You always were.”

Brooke said the couple both knew they wanted to get married at home.

“We chose the Puth family home because we knew Montecito would be the perfect backdrop,” she told Vogue.

‘I wanted our wedding to combine tradition with modern unconventionality. I wanted every detail to feel relaxed, yet perfect and carefully curated.’

The festivities began with a rehearsal dinner at the San Ysidro Ranch, where President John F. Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy once spent their honeymoon.

After the rehearsal dinner, guests were treated to a welcome drink at Brooke and Charlie’s home, which is within walking distance of his parents’ house.

She said putting together her wedding weekend wardrobe was her “biggest styling challenge yet.”

After trying on 30 dresses, she chose a custom-made dress by Danielle Frankel.

“I wanted a dress that was classic, but far from basic; feminine, but with an edge; sculptural, without feeling like a costume. It had to be totally me,” she shared.

Charlie, on the other hand, wore a custom-made Bode shirt all weekend.

The couple tied the knot in a ceremony in the driveway of the house, where they exchanged gold rings encrusted with diamonds.

“We wanted the ceremony to be super simple, but memorable. Charlie and I were strangely relaxed and peaceful when we were both there.”

‘As I stood there, I had never felt so connected to Charlie — it was like time stood still. Without realizing it, we had both written the same line into our vows: “It’s always been you.”‘

After the ceremony, family and friends gathered for cocktails on the pool terrace before moving into a tent for the reception.

The newlyweds made their grand entrance to Barry White’s ‘Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe’ and danced their first dance to Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Jersey Girl’.

Sansone shared, “We can’t believe it’s all over, but we had the best night ever. We were so happy to have everyone we know and love in one room.”

She also recalled that their paths have long been intertwined: “Our dads went to elementary school together and we both grew up in New Jersey. There was always a spark and chemistry between us, but the timing never seemed to work — until it did. It was like there was always this invisible thread that showed us that timing is everything.”

The couple was recently spotted enjoying their honeymoon on September 15 in Como, Italy.

Charlie looked relaxed in a striped shirt and white pants, while Brooke wore a matching bra and pants in a cheerful pattern.

Puth announced the couple’s engagement on Instagram last year with great enthusiasm.

The couple met while growing up in New Jersey, but didn’t start dating until they were adults, going Instagram official late last year.

“I flew to New York to propose to my best friend and she said yes,” the Light Switch singer wrote in his caption.

“I am the happiest, best version of myself and it’s all because of you Brookie. I love you endlessly, forever and always.”

The heartwarming message was accompanied by a photo album of them celebrating their engagement at Lucali Pizzeria in Brooklyn.

In one of the touching photos, Brooke holds her phone to capture herself and her new fiancé clinking wine glasses.

In another photo, she showed off her engagement ring as she grabbed a delicious slice of pizza from her plate.

Like Lady and the Tramp, she and Charlie playfully bite into opposite sides of the same slice of pizza at the same time.

Shortly before the two officially hit Instagram, Charlie was a guest on The Howard Stern Show and spoke highly of their relationship, without mentioning Brooke by name.

He enthusiastically told me that he was ‘definitely’ in love and with an indelible smile on his face he indicated that she was the one.

Charlie said he “grew up with” his girlfriend and that they had known each other since his “small town” in New Jersey.

“Now that my life is becoming more and more turbulent and I’m traveling all over the place, it’s really nice to have someone close to you who you’ve known for a long time,” he said.

However, he indicated that if he did eventually propose to Brooke, he would do everything he could to keep the news from becoming public.

“If I do that, the media definitely won’t know about it and I’ll do everything I can to make sure they don’t know about it because it’s just going to be, I don’t know, too much,” the Attention singer told the radio host.

Before his romantic relationship with Brooke, Charlie was in a relationship with his singer Charlotte Lawrence, whom he dated in 2019.

In 2022, while promoting his song That’s Hilarious, he said the lyrics were about his “worst breakup” and added that 2019 was the “f***in’ worst year” of his life.

In 2016, Charlie briefly dated Bella Thorne, but ended things after social media users pointed out that she had started dating him while she was still with her previous boyfriend, Teen Wolf heartthrob Tyler Posey.
