Anthony Martial ‘agrees shock transfer and biggest contract in club’s history’ as details of deal are ‘revealed’ – after he left Man United this summer

Anthony Martial is said to have signed a record-breaking contract with a European club.

The striker has been a free agent since leaving Manchester United when his nine-year contract at Old Trafford expired.

He has been linked with several clubs, including Flamengo in Brazil, but is reportedly set to sign a deal closer to home.

Greek outlet SPORT24 reports that he is exchanging final documents with AEK Athens for a three-year contract, while the Spanish Relevance claims that he verbally agreed to a move.

According to SPORT24, Martial is set to earn £2.5 million per season at AEK. If there had been no delay, the deal would have been announced on Monday night.
