Tom Brady and Rob McElhenney were spotted having an in-depth chat ahead of Birmingham City’s clash with Wrexham.
Although the game is played in midweek in League One, there are some very familiar faces in attendance at St Mary’s.
Wrexham co-owner McElhenney has flown straight from the Emmys to the game, while former NFL star Brady, a minority shareholder in Birmingham, will also be watching from the stands.
Before kick-off, the two met pitchside and had an in-depth chat, with Brady presenting the Hollywood star with a personalised Birmingham shirt.

McElhenney’s Wrexham travel to Brady’s Birmingham on Monday for League One action
The pair are joined by David Beckham, who has struck up a friendship with Brady
Brady and McElhenney aren’t the only big stars in attendance, David Beckham is also in the stands for the third-tier match.
“Straight after the Emmys I’m getting on a plane and going to Birmingham, England, to watch Wrexham play Tom Brady’s team, Birmingham City,” McElhenney said before the game.
‘We’re not legally allowed to bet on the games, but we’re having fun, we’ve got social media and all that. I’m going with him and I believe Mr David Beckham will be there too – we’re going to have a good time.’
Wrexham, who were promoted from League Two last season, currently sit top of League One with 13 points from their opening five games.
Birmingham are now in sixth place with 10 points from four games.
Brady presented the Hollywood star with a personalised Birmingham shirt before kick-off
Beckham has become friends with Brady, and the two were seen together at the Inter Miami-Cincinnati game in August.
The match between Birmingham and Wrexham is expected to attract large audiences, both in England and the US.
