Martha Stewart reveals who she is voting for with rare presidential endorsement
Martha Stewart has finally announced who she will be voting for in November’s presidential election.
During the 2024 Retail Influencer CEO Forum earlier this week, the TV star said she would vote for Kamala Harris.
Stewart, 83, said why she is supporting Harris is because she wants a president “who doesn’t hate New York” and “doesn’t hate democracy.”
The star has long been critical of Trump, as they both had competing versions of The Apprentice in 2006.
Ultimately, Trump’s version won out, while Stewart’s version fell victim to low ratings.

Stewart said she would vote for Kamala Harris because she wants a president “who doesn’t hate New York” and “doesn’t hate democracy.”
She claimed at the time that Trump had agreed to his firing so that only her version of the show would continue.
“Having two students was as unfair to him as it was to me,” she told CBS News at that moment.
Trump disputed her story and confronted her in a public letter to the press: “I wish she could take responsibility for her failures.”
In 2016, Stewart endorsed Hillary Clinton after Trump did so, telling CNN, “We cannot have the country governed by someone who is totally unprepared for what is coming.”
Still, Stewart praised Trump in 2016, calling him a “true entrepreneur,” but she retracted her comments after his victory.

“My personal conundrum is that my friends know who I am and what I stand for, but as the owner of the magazine, how do you take sides when 50 percent of your readers are on one side and 50 percent are on the other? That’s tricky. That’s my answer to that.”
This time around, Stewart seems to have no problem supporting Harris, even if it means alienating some of her audience. However, she remains reluctant to elaborate on the subject.
