A top Colombian footballer stunned fans on Saturday by pulling out his penis to distract an opponent for a dangerous free kick.
In a moment of frenzy, Independiente Santa Fe defender Geisson Perea bared his penis while standing in the wall as a Jaguares de Cordoba player scored a free kick.
It is thought that Perera used the ballistic tactic to distract the player – and it seemed to work when the Jaguares man skewed his effort wide from goal – and luckily Perea’s pack too.

However, Perea has spoken out after the incident, claiming that he had no intention of exposing himself to the world.
“I was fixing my lycra, I had that space,” he told Colombia’s Win Sports TV. ‘When I come in’ [the pitch], I enter it to play and not to be aware that a camera can see me. They are synonymous with emotions that move.
“I’m human and I only tried to accommodate my Lycra, I didn’t mean to show my genitals.”
According to TMZ SportsSeveral supporters were outraged by Perea’s brazen display. Incredibly, his soldiers were featured in the TV broadcast, further fueling the anger of many in Colombia.
Some have called for his punishment, while others have urged the club to quickly remove him from Santa Fe.
Oddly enough, Perea was not penalized by the referee during the match for not seeing the incident. At this point, he has not yet received any disciplinary action for the creative stunt.

No matter how hard he tried, the 31-year-old Colombian defender was unable to help his team avoid a 2-1 defeat to Jaguares.
Perea has made 15 appearances for Santa Fe in Colombia’s Primera A so far. He is currently on loan from fellow first division team Atletico Nacional.
After the strong reaction, Perea will probably keep it in his pants during the club’s next game against Deportivo Cali on Saturday.
Santa Fe is currently 8th in the standings with 28 points, three behind the leaders, Deportivo Pasto.
