MAFS UK: Jordan says he had row with Duka after he flirted with ex-wife Chanita at reunion dinner

Jordan Emmett-Connelly of Married At First Sight UK has revealed he was arguing with co-star Duka Cavolli over ex-wife Chanita Stephenson, who was not aired on the show.

The 29-year-old said he became annoyed at the reunion dinner when Duka, 31, made a move against Chanita.

He explained that despite breaking up with Chanita after their final vows, he still has “some feelings for her” and found Duka’s actions “disrespectful.”

After Chanita said she was “single and ready to mingle,” viewers were shocked to see Duka flirt with her and compliment her.

He said, ‘I love the hair, love the eyes too.’

An amused Chanita replied, ‘Is this to you, Duka?’

Jordan interrupted him and placed himself between the pair, which shocked the experts who believed the move was motivated by jealousy.

Jordan admitted, “To be honest, I still have feelings for her. I didn’t like telling you the truth. It didn’t feel right and that’s because I do care.’

He went on to say he was upset by Duka’s comments, saying, “That was frustrating too. There were many things that were edited.

‘Mate, why are you so disrespectful? I understand we’re not together, but we’ve been through this whole process together. She is still someone I have a close relationship with. She’s my ex-wife in theory, we ended up with these recordings and you’re supposed to be a good friend.”

He added: ‘This was a constant thing, he kept saying while filming in front of the camera and I was given some respect as a mate.’

Jordan revealed that Duka eventually came to him and apologized, recalling, “So then he pulled me on the couch and I sat down and I thought like Duka, what are you doing? I’ve already said three times, why are you acting like this? He apologized and said, ‘Sorry mate, it wasn’t like that.’

It comes after fans suggested Duka date Chanita after their brief flirtation.

However, Duka insisted he was too close of a friend to both Jordan and Chanita and revealed that he had found love with a former flame.

On his Instagram story, he wrote: ‘You guys have to stop! Chanita and Jordan are both good friends! I’m a taken man and it’s not one of the cast members!’

In an Instagram Live, he also revealed that his new girlfriend is actually someone he was dating “back during Covid”.

He said, “We saw each other and went through ups and downs… There’s a whole story behind it. The show made me realize what I do and don’t want.’

When asked if he ‘lit’ an ‘old flame’, Duka replied, ‘Yes, so to speak.’
