Planning a new career Karine? White House press secretary raises eyebrows with appearance on reality show

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has a cameo in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Potomac.

On Thursday, Bravo released a trailer for the new season.

Jean-Pierre welcomes cast member Wendy Osefo to the White House, where they sit down for an interview for Osefo’s YouTube series The Dr. Wendy Show.

“This interview was filmed at the EEOB. The focus of the conversation was on how the Biden-Harris administration is delivering historic results for Black communities, and the goal was to reach key and diverse audiences,” a White House official told DailyMail.com.

A visit to the White House ruined a previous Real Housewives franchise.

In November 2009, Real Housewives of DC cast member Michaele Salahi and her husband Tareq attended the cocktail hour of President Barack Obama’s first state banquet, where he hosted Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

A Washington Post reporter noted that the budding reality star’s name was not on the official White House guest list.

What followed was a huge scandal in Washington D.C. The couple was brought to court by the House Homeland Security Committee and a grand jury was appointed to investigate the matter.

Real Housewives of DC was canceled after one season.

“I mean, I loved ‘Real Housewives of DC’ so much that I wanted to do a second season,” Bravo’s Andy Cohen said in 2015leading up to the launch of Real Housewives of Potomac.

“But that show was really torpedoed by the ‘Salamis,'” Cohen continued. “I feel like, with the White House crash. There was such a stink about those two.”

This time, the Housewives character was a guest at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Since becoming White House spokesman in May 2022, Jean-Pierre has embraced the Democratic Party’s good relationship with the entertainment industry.

She has invited a number of celebrities to press conferences and has been a guest on shows like The View.

The spokesperson appeared with several drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race at the Little Gay Pub, an LGBTQ bar not far from the White House, in May.

She appeared in a Vogue fashion spreads last september and it was People magazine first revealed her cameo on Housewives.
