Kyle Sandilands reveals the stomach-churning way a disgruntled listener took brutal revenge on the shock jock

Kyle Sandilands has revealed how a disgruntled listener took revenge on him, much to his dismay.

The 53-year-old radio host reflected on the shocking incident during a conversation with his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson on their eponymous radio show on Wednesday.

He explained that 35 years ago, when he worked at a radio station in Townsville, an old woman would bring lamingtons for all the staff.

But Kyle said the woman called later that day and said she had peed in the snacks because she “hated” their radio show.

“35 years ago I was working at a radio station in Townsville. A lovely old lady brought over some cupcakes – not lamingtons,” he began on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show.

‘We ate all the lamingtons and then she called in the afternoon and just wanted to know if everyone liked the lamingtons?’

“Oh yeah, all the announcers ran out and ate them all up and you know what she said? ‘Okay, I hate you all, I pissed on them.'”

Kyle sent his co-host Jackie, 49, into hysterics with the confession, expressing his outrage at the horrific twist, adding: “We ate them and she peed in them!”

Kyle then joked that it must have been the ‘secret ingredient’, adding: ‘They were very tasty. From what I can remember, they were the best lamingtons I’ve ever had in my life.’

This comes after Kyle and Jackie were left red-faced on Tuesday after a radio gaffe when they announced the death of acting icon James Earl Jones.

James, who provided the iconic voice of the ubiquitous movie villain Darth Vader, died Monday at the age of 93 at his home in Duchess County, New York.

“James Earl Jones has died,” Jackie announced, to which a dejected Kyle replied, “Not the voice of Darth Vader?”

But when Jackie requested audio of the actor delivering an iconic Darth Vader line, it turned out panelist Zane Dean wasn’t entirely familiar with the veteran actor’s filmography.

Zane instead began playing audio of James as Mufasa in the 1994 Disney classic The Lion King.

“No, no, that’s Mufasa,” Jackie shouted across the studio. “Listen, we’ve had this conversation,” she added, hinting that it wasn’t the first time Zane had made the mistake.

“Do you think this would happen on Entertainment Tonight,” Kyle joked before Zane replayed the audio.

“I got it wrong,” Zane said shyly before playing the correct audio clip of Darth Vader.

But Zane’s mistake proved instructive for Jackie, who admitted she had no idea Darth Vader and Mufasa were voiced by the same person.

James made his film debut as a bombardier in Stanley Kubrick’s 1964 masterpiece of black comedy Dr. Strangelove, and went on to build an acclaimed career in Hollywood.

He never appeared on screen in his most famous role as Darth Vader in the Star Wars films. Former bodybuilder David Prowse donned the iconic black suit, while James only provided the voice of the character.

His signature gravelly voice was also used as the voice of the doomed lion Mufasa in the 1994 animated classic, The Lion King.
