Liam Gallagher, 51, reveals he and brothers Noel, 57, and Paul, 58, ‘can’t swim’ in resurfaced Gogglebox clip – after rocker hinted Oasis will tour US
According to youngest brother Liam, “none of the three Gallagher brothers can swim.”
In a resurfaced clip from 2017, Liam, 51, admitted he, Noel, 57, and Paul, 58, never learned to swim during an appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox.
Liam says he’s “flapping around like a salmon” when he hits deep water, after admitting all three brothers are struggling underwater.
The rock legend appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox seven years ago, along with his mother Peggy and his 23-year-old son Gene, who is also a musician.
Liam said, “You are [Peggy] the only one of us who can swim.

“I can swim,” Gene interrupted.
Liam said, ‘Yeah, you can swim, but me, Noel and Paul can’t swim.’
Gene added, “You can swim, I’ve seen you swim. You just can’t get your head up, you just go under the water.”
He said, ‘I can do a half width. I’m jealous man, I wish I could swim. I struggle when it gets deeper and that.
‘Then I start flapping like a crazy salmon, a crazy crazy salmon. I flap as soon as it gets deep.
“I would have trouble showering,” he joked.
Besides Gene, whose mother is Nicole Appleton, 49, Liam has son Lennon, 24, and daughter Molly, 26, with ex-wife Patsy Kensith.
Liam and Patsy divorced shortly afterwards due to Liam having an affair with Lisa Moorish, who gave birth to their daughter Molly in 1998.

“That’s when I start flapping like a crazy salmon, a crazy crazy salmon. I’m already flapping around as soon as it gets deep. I’d have trouble showering,” he joked.

Unlike his famous brothers, London-based DJ and photographer Paul, who can sing but leaves that to his brothers, longs for a simple existence and prefers to remain ‘invisible’ from the media spotlight.
While Liam and Noel had a bitter feud for 15 years, Paul remained a pillar of strength for both of them. He also had a close relationship with Liam and is rumoured to be the best man at his upcoming wedding.
In his 1997 book Brothers: Childhood to Oasis, Paul revealed that his brothers did not want him to be involved with the band, according to the Mirror.
During an interview on the Michael Anthony Show Last year, Paul revealed that he also has an impressive singing voice, but that he prefers to leave that to his brothers.
He said, ‘I can sing. I don’t sing anymore, when you have two guys in your family who can sing, what the hell do you do with singing. Do something else…I choose not to sing.’
Liam confirmed in a cryptic update on Monday that Oasis will bring their reunion tour to America.
The musician and his brother Noel, who have already sold out their UK concert, are currently facing demands to refund fans affected by the ‘dynamic pricing’ after the price of standard tickets doubled from £148 to £355.
Despite the negative reactions, they could now be set to play their biggest ever concerts in the US, with Liam hinting at recent rumours surrounding X.

Liam appeared to confirm that Oasis will bring their reunion tour to America in a cryptic update on Monday
When a fan asked, “Liam, I know you’re not our biggest fan, but is Oasis coming to AMERICA?”
He replied, “I love America and I know deep down you love ME too.”
It was reported on Saturday that Liam and Noel had a ‘financial reason’ to extend the tour.
A source said The Mirror: ‘Their promoters at Live Nation are desperate to make this happen, and Liam and Noel have verbally agreed to plans. The question of whether they can continue the tour without falling out has been raised, but there is now a huge financial incentive for them to keep the show on tour.’
According to the report, the band will perform at the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and other major venues across the United States.
Billboards in New York’s Times Square appeared to announce US dates.
The emails featured the Amazon Music logo and a photo of the Gallagher brothers, with the message: “If we had to put up a billboard to get these guys to come to the United States, this would be it.”
