Kumail Nanjiani portrays Somen ‘Steve’ Banerjee, the founder of the world’s largest men stripping empire, in Hulu’s Hulu’s true crime saga, Welcome to Chippendales,

In the latest teaser for Tuesday’s upcoming drama, the 44-year-old Pakistani-American actor can be seen dreaming of “luxury” and “opulent lifestyle” while working at a gas station.

After his boss compliments him for being “hardworking” and “trustworthy” and offers him a promotion to general manager, Banerjee has a surprising answer.

‘I’m afraid I can’t accept it. That was my dream when I came here, but my goals have changed, I have changed. I am going to start my own company. A strip club for women,” he explains.

As he reveals his big idea to a man (Dan Stevens) and a woman outside a seedy club, the man asks him if he’s kidding.

“Do you like looking at naked guys?” the man asked the blonde next to him, who replies, “I have something to tell you, Paul, women get horny.”

The show is based on K. Scot Macdonald and Patrick MontesDeOca’s book Deadly Dance: The Chippendales Murders, which was originally published in 2014.
