The Baldur’s Gate 3 team isn’t done with the game yet

Douse said he didn’t want to share details about the next update due to concerns that it would put “unnecessary pressure” on the development team. More Baldurs Gate 3 should be exciting news for many people. Since its release in 2023, it has been a commercial and critical success. In August, the game won a Hugo, the highest award for narrative excellence in sci-fiction and fantasy media, and has won various accolades at events like The Game Awards. Mods will allow fans to expand the world, but it’s nice to know that the team is still looking into further improvements or content for the game, since it will be the last game the team makes in the Baldur’s Gate series.

Last spring, Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke said that the development team would not be releasing any DLC or expansions for the game. He also said that Larian Studios would not be working on a sequel and that the studio’s next game would not be tied to Dungeons & Dragons. Given all this, it’s nice to know that there are at least a few small surprises that fans of Baldurs Gate 3 what you can look forward to.
