A rooftop pool, wellness centre and a ‘golf room’: Inside NSW premier’s palatial $6.25m Sydney apartment
Nick Greiner has purchased a stunning apartment in one of Sydney’s most exclusive developments.
The 77-year-old former Premier of New South Wales paid a whopping $6.25 million for the luxury accommodation in the elegant eight-storey Akoya block.
Located in the North Shore suburb of Greenwich, 7 km from the CBD, the complex features a resort-style living environment including a rooftop infinity pool with stunning city views.
There is also a wellness centre, a library, a bar and a ‘golf room’ where residents can practice on a simulator.
In the meantime, a concierge is present to serve the needs of the residents and their guests.
Greiner, who was Premier of New South Wales between 1988 and 1992, bought his apartment based on the floor plan, the Daily Telegraph on wednesday.
The complex, which was completed earlier this year, has now sold most of its 39 apartments.

Located in the North Shore suburb of Greenwich, 7km from the CBD, the complex offers a resort-style living environment including a rooftop infinity pool with stunning views over the city.
According to Akoya’s website, there are currently only four units available, including a one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo for $1.75 million.
It has a private courtyard.
These apartments are marketed as a luxury option for those 55 and older. Each apartment features a fireplace, wine cooler and terrace.
The complex also features several private offices that, according to the report, are available to buyers on a separate title starting at $450,000.
Greiner bought the property after selling his Point Piper condo for $14.5 million.
He shared a third of the proceeds from the sale of the three-bedroom apartment with his ex-wife Carolyn Fletcher.
The Australian Financial Overview reported in November last year that the former couple closed the deal for the exclusive off-market property.

Greiner bought the exclusive property ten years ago for $5.5 million, occupying an entire floor in the posh Pacific Point block.
That was the same year the couple sold their former family home in Centennial Park.
The stunning three-story, five-bedroom home sold for $6.25 million after being listed for $6 million.
The former couple, who were married for over 40 years, purchased the property in 2002 for $4 million.
