NSW police officer caught on camera telling a man to ‘get f***ed’ and giving him the middle finger

A Sydney man has captured the shocking moment a young police officer gave him the middle finger and told him to “fuck off.”

The male non-commissioned officer, his female colleague and a superior officer attempted to give the man a warning.

However, the situation escalated when the man refused to provide his ID.

“We’ve already given you our names and where we come from,” the officer said. “Now it’s your duty to tell us your name and where you come from.”

The man replied, “Is that my duty? I’m not a police officer.”

The supervising sergeant intervened and explained that the officers could not hand over the documents if the man refused to identify himself.

However, the younger male officer was not willing to leave it at that.

“That’s rather rude, sir,” the young police officer said to the man as his colleagues turned to leave.

“Hey, f*** you. You gave me the finger. F*** you,” the police officer said.

The angry officer responded by giving the man the middle finger.

“Good job son, that’s professional,” the man replies before telling the officer that he was filmed by at least three cameras on his property.

He asks for his sergeant’s name before the clip abruptly ends.

The Australians were quick to share their thoughts on the interaction.

“Oh my god. What is the world coming to? At least the senior police officer had some brains,” wrote one woman on X.

“I really hope this unprofessional police officer was just a one-off incident,” a second said.

A third wrote: ‘Oh dear Mr Attitude! He can’t even follow a direction from a superior officer… He’s going to do well in the police force.’

It is not known when the footage was taken. NSW Police have been contacted for comment.
