Makeup artist reveals how to achieve Molly-Mae Hague’s flawless soft glam look with affordable products
A professional makeup artist shows you how to create the same flawless look as Molly-Mae Hague. And the best part is, you can recreate it with affordable beauty products.
The tutorial was shared in a new video posted to TikTok by makeup guru Selena Marchandfrom Nova Scotia, Canada.
Marchand has been working in the sector for 16 years and regularly shares all kinds of tutorials, tricks and other hacks with her audience on her platform.
This time was no different: she explained step by step how you can try the same soft glamour on yourself.
The makeup artist herself is ‘obsessed’ with the former Love Island star’s makeup, who is seen in a photo on her TikTok wearing matte nude lipstick and a radiant dusty pink blush.

But before you actually apply makeup, Marchand told viewers that it’s important to moisturize your skin.
For this, she chose to combine her SPF and moisturizer by using the BYOMA Gel Face Moisturizer, which costs just $23.
“The most important thing is to prep your skin and let it soak in for about three minutes,” she explains.
Next, Marchand applied concealer: She used the $10.99 Milani Under Eye Brightening Tint in Peach, along with a fluffy eyeshadow brush to cover the top of her lids.
“This will remove any redness, discoloration, veins, and purple tones, and it will make your eyeshadow really pop,” the makeup artist says.
“For my eyes, I’m going to use the Milani eyeshadow palette from Whiskey Business,” she continued, showing off the $9.99 neutral shadow.
First, she took the creamy champagne shade and applied it to her eyelids, then blended the light brown shade from the palette into her brow bone.
When mixing colors in the crease, Marchand advised his followers to move the brush “back and forth” like a “windshield wiper.”
The first step in Marchand’s makeup look was to prep the skin by moisturizing it and then applying concealer to the eyelids

“I’m going to curl my lashes really hard and we’re not going to put on eyeliner,” she continued.
“Make sure you grab your lashes at the base, squeeze, and then pump,” she instructed.
For her mascara, Marchand used Essence’s $4.99 Call Me Queen mascara, but she only applied a tiny amount because she finds Molly-Mae’s lashes tend to be a little “subtle.”
After the eyes were all done, it was time to apply Molly-Mae’s face makeup. For this, I used Sephora Collection’s Reveal The Real skin tint for $22 and Sigma’s F80 makeup brush to blend it all in.
“Now I’m going to apply the same Milani concealer that I used above my eyes under my eyes,” Marchand continued.
“Now I’m going to take care of the skin under my eyes. This is the Maybelline Lasting Fix Translucent Powder in the shade Banana,” she said of the $12.99 product.
She took the provided powder puff and gently dabbed it under her eyes, being careful not to smudge anything.
“Molly loves a tan, so we have to apply a lot of bronzer,” says the professional makeup artist.

To get Molly-Mae’s tanned look, Marchand used the Rimmel bronzer in the shade Sun Dance, along with the Milani Baked Blush in the shade Berry Amore
For a finishing touch, Marchand accentuated her nose and cheekbones with the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Vanilla Ice Cream

To create that sun-kissed look, Marchand used the $5.99 Rimmel London Bronzer in Sun Dance with an angled brush on her cheekbones, the sides of her nose and the top of her face, as well as on her hair part.
“We want to use a more bronze blush, not too pink, but we want it to be easy to blend with the bronzer,” she continued.
To achieve this, she applied the Milani Baked Blush in the shade Berry Amore (€10.99) to the apples of her cheeks and then blended upwards towards her cheeks.
For the finishing touches, Marchand focused on her lip look and some highlight.
She lined her lips with NYX Lip Pencil in the shade Nude for $5, then applied a little Rimmel London Lip Gloss in the shade 210, which will only cost you $6.99.
“I think this is the perfect nude lipstick,” she noted.
Before taking her final steps, she set her look with some more powder and filled in her brows with the $13.79 L’Oréal Paris Brow Stylist Definer in Blonde.
Finally, the TikTok creator used the $7.99 NYX Jumbo Stick in Vanilla Ice Cream to highlight “select areas” of her face.
“This is very vibrant, so I apply it directly on top of my nose and blend it out with my finger,” she instructed.
‘I put a little on the apples of my cheeks and a little on top of my cheekbones.’
Once that was done, Marchand showed the camera the final result, which looked very similar to Molly-Mae’s classic, glowy, vibrant makeup.
In the comments under Marchand’s video, many users stopped to type how much they loved Molly-Mae, who recently made headlines after her shocking split from fiancé Tommy Fury.
The two met in 2019 on the popular series Love Island UK and quickly became fan favourites.
They got engaged in July 2023, shortly after having their first child together, daughter Bambi, in January 2023.
The star recently broke her silence on the split in a new video she posted to her YouTube channel last week, in which she admitted that she’s “ready to move forward and look to the future.”
“The last two weeks have been very real and it’s real life. It’s something we’re trying to get through as privately as we can, but I haven’t really gotten over it yet,” she shared.
“My coping mechanism is to talk to the people I love and the people who have been incredible during this time and then come here and push through. I don’t feel comfortable talking about it because this is real life, it’s not a drama, it’s not a publicity stunt, it’s actually really sad and deep and I don’t feel good enough to talk about it.”
