Daniel Craig cast his wife Rachel Weisz in the lead role when they graced the red carpet together at the Venice Film Festival premiere of Queer on Tuesday.
The 56-year-old actor looked handsome in an all-white suit and shiny brown shoes as he posed hand-in-hand with Rachel, 54.
Daniel kept his tousled blonde locks, but added oversized sunglasses.
He’s been surprising fans in recent months with his new haircut, which is presumably for his upcoming film Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, which began filming in June.
Meanwhile, Rachel flaunted a glamorous look in a glittering blue strapless dress with a dazzling diamond necklace.

Directed by Luca Guadagnino and based on the semi-autobiographical novella by William Burroughs, Queer stars Daniel Craig as American expat and war veteran William Lee, who is romantically involved with a younger man, Eugene Allerton (Drew Starkey), a drug addict and discharged naval officer.
Early reviews indicate that moviegoers will be shocked by the explicit nature of some key moments in the film.
One scene that has been talked about a lot is the one where Daniel has oral sex with Allerton.

The novella was written between 1951 and 1953, but not published until 1985. Much of it was written after the death of Burroughs’ wife, Joan Vollmer, whom he shot in the head during a drinking party in Mexico City.
Their four-year-old son was in the room at the time. Burroughs said he tried to shoot a glass off her head, William Tell-style, but later changed his story and said the weapon misfired.
He was convicted in absentia of manslaughter after fleeing to the US.
Nowadays, Daniel lives mainly in New York with actress Rachel and their young daughter.
