Married At First Sight star Jade Pywell alarmed her fans on Friday by revealing she was in hospital for surgery.
The 26-year-old influencer and her MAFS husband Ridge Barredo, 27, shared a gallery of shocking photos on Instagram that show Jade in a surgical gown at a local hospital.
In one photo, Jade lay on a hospital bed looking tired shortly after surgery. In another, she made a peace gesture to the camera as she prepared for the procedure.
Ridge posted the reassuring words with the photo: “She’s still alive.”
Meanwhile, Jade shared a clip of Ridge bringing her food like a devoted friend shortly after the surgery was completed.
While it is not known what procedure Jade underwent, Ridge cheekily asked his followers to ‘guess what surgery it was’. He indicated that it was nothing life-threatening.

In an exclusive chat with Ny Breaking Australia, the couple, who recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary, revealed plans to start a family.
When asked about their sex life, Ridge immediately responded negatively.
“But she’s not pregnant yet, and that’s a bit annoying,” he joked.
When asked if they had discussed the idea of having children together, Ridge explained that Jade wanted to get married before having kids.
“She said yes to the next person I was going to marry or get engaged to,” he revealed.
Ny Breaking Australia revealed in May that Ridge had quit his job as a psychiatric nurse in NSW and moved to live with his TV bride.
A few days later, the MAFS burglar officially shared the news on Instagram with his 111,000 followers, posting an adorable video of himself and Jade.
