Catch of the day! Moment World Cup winner Lautaro Martínez’s wife saves their toddler son by grabbing a falling mirror in the nick of time
This is the moment World Cup winner Lautaro Martínez’s wife saved their toddler son’s life after a large mirror in their home nearly fell on him.
Security footage from inside Martinez’s home showed his one-year-old son, Theo, stumbling into a walk-in closet. The toddler was seen walking toward a mirror at the end of the room before punching it several times.
The mirror then began to tilt and Theo looked back in fear. But hero WAG Agustina Gandolfo, sensing her child was in danger, sprinted to her son and caught the mirror before it fell all the way on him, preventing a potentially nasty accident.
She then placed the device back against the wall and safely gathered her baby son into her arms.
The 28-year-old Argentinian wrote: ‘Theo almost gave me a heart attack.’
