Tom Brady attends Inter Miami match as NFL icon and Lionel Messi watch Luis Suarez scores twice in SIX MINUTES for hosts
Tom Brady attends Saturday night’s MLS match between Inter Miami and FC Cincinnati after sitting in the stands at Chase Stadium with David Beckham.
Brady, the most decorated NFL quarterback of all time, had the biggest smile on his face as he spoke to Beckham before kickoff in Fort Lauderdale, where he was apparently invited as a special guest of the Miami co-founder.
The pair weren’t the only sporting icons in the crowd, however, as Miami superstar Lionel Messi also watched from the stands as he continues to recover from the horrific ankle injury he suffered during last month’s Copa America final.
Messi, Brady and Beckham all looked on as Luis Suarez led Miami to a two-goal lead after just six minutes, giving Miami the win and maintaining their solid position at the top of the Eastern Conference.
However, just three minutes before half-time, the home side suffered a huge setback when Tomas Aviles was shown a red card, so they still have work to do after the break.
