Steven, the founder of fashion brand Amiee Lynn, and Jodi came into the spotlight in 2004 when they first appeared on the hit ABC series Wife Swap. In the series, women from different social classes swapped lives for nearly two weeks.
In the episode that put them on the map, Jodi was labeled a New York City “multimillionaire” who enjoyed “me time,” spending a whopping $4,000 a week on items for her flashy wardrobe.
Viewers watched as the then 36-year-old swapped lifestyles with 45-year-old school bus driver Lynn Bradley, who lived in rural New Jersey and chopped wood.
At the time, Jodi refused to participate in Lynn’s daily activities, such as chopping wood, which made Lynn’s husband, Brad, irritated by the extravagant lifestyle of the elite women.
The wealthy couple became especially known for Steven’s shocking statements about their children.
