Journalist who was ‘humiliated’ by It Ends With Us star Blake Lively’s ‘bump’ comment reveals the moment that made her ‘cringe’ when they reunited
The reporter who was “humiliated” by Blake Lively and “terrified” of talking to other celebrities has revealed what really happened at their reunion two years later that left her feeling like she was “dying.”
51-year-old Norwegian journalist Kjersti Flaa made headlines when she posted a clip of an “awkward” conversation she had with the 36-year-old Gossip Girl alum in 2016 that went viral and prompted a huge backlash from Blake.
During the conversation, the actress made a sarcastic comment about Kjersti’s “belly” after congratulating the then-pregnant Blake on her upcoming birth, but the reporter didn’t expect this.
She said the “horrific incident” had completely shaken her confidence and left her feeling “nervous” when interviewing stars for a long time.
Now she’s once again venting her grievances with the blonde beauty, who has been embroiled in heavy criticism over the controversy surrounding her latest film It Ends With Us, and opening up about her second meeting with Blake.

“Okay, I have a few more things I want to say,” she said before revealing the gossip surrounding the actress.
She then revealed that she met Blake again in 2018, two years after their first horrific encounter.
The viral reporter revealed that she would be interviewing Blake alongside Anna Kendrick for their film A Simple Favor.
Kjersti explains: ‘I found this clip from before the camera actually started rolling. They were already rolling, but the interview hadn’t started yet. You can see from my facial expressions that I’m dying, I’m so nervous.’
She admitted that watching it back made her “chuckle.”
The ‘freelance’ reporter noted that ‘nothing’ really disastrous happened during the interview. In fact, Anna and Blake talked for most of the interview.
She previously spoke candidly about her first meeting with Blake and why she never wanted to speak to another Hollywood star again.
‘“Honestly, it took me a while to get over it,” she shared in a new video posted to her YouTube account this week.

She previously spoke candidly about her first meeting with Blake (showing this month) and why she never wanted to speak to another Hollywood star again.
It made an impression on me for a while, [I was] nervous when I went to interview other people afterwards.
‘I blamed myself for a long time because I felt like I had done or said something wrong. That’s why I waited so long [to post it].
Kjersti recalls having to speak to Kristen Stewart just hours after the Blake interview, saying the Twilight alum was “so sweet” and “saved her day.”
Kjersti recalls having to speak to Kristen Stewart just hours after the Blake interview — and she said the Twilight alumna was “so sweet” and “saved her day”
“I would like to give a shout-out to Kristen Stewart, the person I interviewed after the horrible incident,” she continued.
“She was the most amazing person to interview. She saved my day. I was terrified walking into that interview because I had just been through what I had been through, so for her to treat me like that [so kindly]….
“She was so sweet, I’m so glad I interviewed her afterwards.”
Finally, Kjersi said she hoped sharing the interview would help others who have been “bullied” in the past.
“It’s not okay to behave like this and I think it needs to be addressed,” she said.
‘A lot of people could relate to this situation. I’ve been approached by a lot of women.
‘I think a lot of people have had experiences that aren’t exactly the same, but are similar. Like someone giving off an unkind energy, or feeling left out or bullied.
‘This usually happens when we’re younger, but as you can see in this video, it also happens when you’re an adult.’
She noted that most parents tell their children to apologize if they are caught being mean to someone else, but she said that doesn’t apply to celebrities.
“Most parents would tell their kids that if they bully someone, they should immediately apologize to that boy or girl. But in this situation, the opposite happened,” she added.
‘Nobody came to apologize. [Her team] probably told her, “Don’t come out, don’t respond, don’t do anything, we’ll take care of this for you. We’ll just say it’s the journalist’s fault and you’re offended by her and then we’ll just plant some other good positive stories.”

The actress has been in the news in recent weeks as rumors of an ongoing feud between her and It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni continue to make headlines
“I think that’s the problem in Hollywood and a lot of places: people don’t admit their mistakes because they’re afraid it’ll backfire or make them worse. I think it’s time to change that.
“I hope this video I posted will help people admit their mistakes.”
Blake has been in the news in recent weeks as rumors of an ongoing feud between her and It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni continue to make headlines.
Amid all the drama, award-winning journalist Kjersti posted the old interview to her YouTube channel, which she titled, “The Blake Lively Interview That Made Me Want to Quit My Job.”
“First of all, congratulations on your little belly,” Kjersti, the founder of Content Now TV, said enthusiastically during the conversation.
“Congratulations on your little belly,” Blake replied, as the interviewer giggled nervously.
After the moment went viral, Kjersti exclusively told DailyMail.com that Blake’s reaction was extra hurtful because she can’t get pregnant.
‘[Her comment] almost left me paralyzed. To be honest, it hurts because I clearly wasn’t pregnant and I could never get pregnant, so for me that comment was like a bullet,” she shared.
‘I didn’t know how to react. I felt very uncomfortable during the interview and all I wanted to do was leave and get out of there as quickly as possible.
“I felt like a complete failure. I kept replaying the interview in my head, trying to figure out what I had said or done to make them behave the way they did. It made no sense.”
She said Blake made her feel “denigrated and ignored” throughout the conversation, and that it ultimately left her questioning whether she “ever wanted to do these types of interviews again.”
“It was such a traumatizing experience for me. I was there to do a job and they made it as difficult as possible for me to do it,” she added.
‘I was there to promote a film. I was invited to meet them. It didn’t feel like that at all.
‘I felt belittled and ignored and I began to doubt whether I ever wanted to do these kinds of interviews again.
‘It took me a while to get over it and get my confidence back.’
