Matt Walsh enrages Democrats by crashing DNC in ‘white dudes for Kamala Harris’ disguise

Conservative commentator Matt Walsh caused a stir at the Democratic National Convention after he burst into the event wearing a “white guys for Kamala Harris” costume.

Walsh drew criticism from Democrats after he was spotted in his woke liberal guise on Tuesday, wearing a ponytail wig and a cap that read “Kamala Harris for president” as he walked through the United Center in Chicago.

In a scene shared widely on social media, Walsh faded into the background as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer was interviewed by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins.

After Walsh was escorted out when he tried to barge into the interview, left-wing viewers expressed outrage over Walsh’s mockery of their convention.

One of them commented, “Why is (Matt Walsh) walking around the DNC in disguise? Just weird behavior.”

Walsh’s undercover look appears to be part of his upcoming political satirical film ‘Am I Racist?’, which sees the pundit antagonize an anti-racism workshop in one scene.

After being recognized from his previous film, ‘What Is A Woman?’, Walsh decided to adopt the same look as someone he interviewed in that film for his upcoming film.

He imitated Patrick Grzanka, a gender expert at the University of Tennessee. He kept his thick beard but wore a bun to mock long-haired liberals.

While the disguise may have helped him in the rest of the upcoming film — including the role of a bumbling, novice diversity adviser spouting buzzwords about racial justice — his efforts at the DNC weren’t exactly secret.

He was quickly recognized by fans and critics alike, with some true Democrats taking issue with his mocking remarks about their adoration for Kamala Harris.

In addition to his ponytail and red Harris cap, Walsh also plastered his blazer with stickers from the Democratic candidate’s platform, including “Gun Freedom” and “Vote to Fix the Court.”

Walsh’s fans found his actions “hilarious,” but his appearance at the DNC was not exactly welcomed by Kamala Harris’ supporters, who urged attendees not to feed him content for his new documentary.

Walsh gave DailyMail.com an exclusive look inside his new documentary this month, sharing a clip of the moment he realised he would have to go undercover for some of the scenes.

He had secretly joined a support group called “Grieving White Privilege, Anti-racist Allyship Training” posing as Steven.

But he made the mistake of wearing his signature clothes: a checked shirt, a thick beard and a quiff.

During the session, one of the attendees realized he had one of America’s most right-wing voices in his midst, which quickly soured the atmosphere.

“I want to know that my physical safety, yours, and everyone else here is in order,” a woman present said, her voice trembling.

Breeshia Wade, the black woman leading the group of white participants, threatened Walsh to leave, before other members threatened to call the police.

In an email to The Mail, Walsh joked about the incident, saying: “I wanted to face my white skin but they called the police… that doesn’t seem like a safe place to be.”
