Netflix fans go wild after ‘bingeing’ new crime drama that ‘keeps you glued to your TV’
Netflix viewers are all excited about a new crime drama that has become a must-watch series on the streaming platform.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, a six-part mystery thriller, has been hailed as ‘the best’ to watch right now after the film captivated audiences with its suspenseful plot.
The series stars Emma Myers, who rose to fame as Enid Sinclair, Jenna Ortega’s werewolf roommate in the Netflix hit series Wednesday.
In this new role, she plays Pippa “Pip” Fitz-Amobi, a 17-year-old girl who loves crime fiction and is determined to uncover the truth behind a murder that has shocked her small town.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is based on Holly Jackson’s bestselling young adult novel and subsequent trilogy series. The story is set in the fictional town of Little Kilton in Buckinghamshire.

The story revolves around the unsolved murder of a high school student five years earlier.
While the police have closed the case, suspecting the victim’s boyfriend to be the perpetrator, Pip remains unconvinced and begins her own investigation, uncovering dark secrets and hidden truths along the way.
Since its release, the series has received widespread acclaim, with an impressive 81% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
In addition to Myers, the cast includes Bridgeton’s India Lillie Davies, Rahul Pattni and Zain Iqbal.
In an interview with Netflix’s TudumMyers expressed her excitement for the project, saying, “I’m absolutely thrilled with this show and it’s been a dream to be Pip.
“Whether you’ve read the book or not, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is a complete experience. I think people are really going to enjoy it.”
Author Holly Jackson shared her excitement about adapting her novel for the small screen, saying, “I can’t wait to see my work come to life on Netflix.
‘I hope viewers will love discovering (or rediscovering) all the secrets and lies of our little English town – Little Kilton.’

The series, which initially aired in the UK on BBC iPlayer, has reached a new global audience on Netflix, where fans have responded enthusiastically to the series.
On LADbible’s Netflix blockbusters group on Facebook, viewers raved about the show’s stimulating storyline and binge-worthy appeal.
Someone wrote: ‘I love the plot twists. Only a few episodes left,’ while another said: ‘So damn good! OMG the plot twist had me on the edge of my seat.’
Another fan commented: “Best thing on Netflix right now,” while a fourth wrote: “I liked it too. I was glued to the TV and watched until 2am.”

Another viewer who enjoyed the show said: ‘This reminds me of the Wednesday series, except for the dark humour. Easy to follow and has enough depth to keep your attention.’
Even fans of the trilogy were impressed. One wrote: ‘I loved it, I skipped a lot of the book to fit in the episodes, but it was a fun movie to watch!’
Another wrote: ‘Of course the books are always going to be better. But this series isn’t bad at all. In fact it’s pretty great. And yes it feels rushed, but if you’re someone who hasn’t read the books and is just planning on watching this one, then it’s fine.’
However, one fan of the novel series was a bit more critical, writing, “I liked the novel much better. It seems like they rushed the storyline a bit in this series, but overall it was pretty good.”
Meanwhile, Netflix fans have hailed a new series as a “masterpiece” after it hit the streaming platform last month. Other viewers, however, have been less positive, lamenting its frustrating plot hole.
