I Dream of Jeannie star Barbara Eden, 92, looks as youthful as ever as she steps out for dinner date in Beverly Hills

Veteran actress Barbara Eden’s charm and beauty prove as enduring as her iconic television character, nearly 60 years after the role made her famous.

The 92-year-old I Dream of Jeannie star looked as vibrant and youthful as ever as she stepped out for dinner in Los Angeles, according to photos obtained by DailyMail.com.

Eden was spotted at The Grill On The Alley, a celebrity hotspot in Beverly Hills, where she enjoyed a meal with two girlfriends.

She was photographed in front of the restaurant, chatting with a friend while waiting for the valet to bring her car.

Her shoulder-length hair was still as blonde as it was in her TV days, with a feathery fringe covering her forehead.

She wore a blue and white striped shirt with a boat neck, white trousers with a slit in the front and blue and brown shoes with a wedge heel.

She completed her look with a beige quilted Chanel handbag and large, sparkly earrings.

Amazingly, Eden celebrates her 93rd birthday on Friday, but she looks decades younger.

And even at her age, she was still recognized by fans on Sunday, including one who abruptly stopped talking and said: “Oh my God, it’s Jeannie!”

She remained true to her well-known charming personality and replied, “Yes, I am!”

The two friends were joined at the restaurant by a male friend who was seen smiling in the photo as Eden interacted with his fans in a friendly manner.

Finally, the parking attendant brought their baby blue Bentley convertible to the front and the group said their goodbyes before going their separate ways.

“Let’s do this again soon,” Eden was heard saying to her friends.

In interviews, Barbara says she owes her youthful appearance to walking, stretching and strength training.

She told Closer magazine in 2019: ‘Everything in moderation. Don’t limit yourself, but don’t overdo it either!’

She loves wine and chocolate, but says she burns the calories she gets in the gym, and she also has a personal trainer.

The Grill On The Alley opened its doors forty years ago and has since become a magnet for discerning lunch and dinner goers.

Barbara and Jon have been coming here for years, the staff knew them both by name and made sure they got in the car safely.

Barbara began her career in 1956 with a series of guest roles on television programs, most notably the six episodes of “Country Club Dance” in the 2016–2017 season of I Love Lucy.

She played the sexy, young Diana Jordan who brought Lucy and Ethel’s husbands Ricky Ricardo and Fred Mertz to life during what they thought would be a boring event.
