Revealed: Prince William ‘hasn’t spoken to Harry in two years and doesn’t want him at his coronation’

According to insiders, Prince William has no plans to invite his younger brother Harry to his coronation.

Although they were once close, the royal brothers are believed to have not spoken to each other for almost two years and are “estranged”, in a move described by a close friend as “terribly sad”.

Friends of the 42-year-old Prince of Wales have reported that William does not want Harry, 39, to be present when he is crowned king.

A source close to William told The Sunday Times: ‘This year his focus has been on his wife, his children and his father. His brother is not really something that is talked about.’

Both the Princess of Wales and the King were diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

Harry and Meghan are said to have learned of Kate’s diagnosis at the same time as the general public, when Kate announced it to the world in a heartbreaking video message filmed in Windsor Gardens.

Although they live more than 5,000 miles away in their $14.65 million Montecito mansion, a source close to Harry and Megan said they privately wished the Welsh men well, but their contact was not returned.

As detailed in his bestselling novel Spare, Harry feels despised by members of the royal family, including his own brother.

The siblings are believed to have not spoken since the funeral of their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, in September 2022.

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are currently on a four-day ‘fake royal’ tour of Colombia.

With a plethora of armed police on hand, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited schools, planted trees and took part in drumming lessons.

Meanwhile, the Prince and Princess of Wales took on their children in a Nerf battle at the Gone Wild festival at Holkham Hall in Norfolk.

An excited and ‘unforgettable’ Louis ran around shouting ‘Nerf or nothing, let’s do this!’, according to Georgina Barron, boss of Norfolk Nerf Parties.

The Princess of Wales, who is undergoing cancer treatment, even “picked up a Nerf gun, ran around and played in the mud with her children,” Ms Barron added, calling it “the greatest honour” to host the family.
