Eerie footage shows mysterious lights in the sky above the California desert amid a surge in UFO sightings.
The podcast Etre Sombras y Luces (Three Shadows and Lights) shared photos of the alleged paranormal activity that occurred over Lancaster County on Thursday night and asked its more than 174,000 TikTok followers: “Has anyone else seen this?”
In a 50-second video, a single red light can be seen flashing in the night sky.
“UFO sighting in Los Angeles yesterday at midnight. We saw a bright red light for about 5-10 minutes,” the caption read, as eerie “X Files” theme music played in the background. “It dropped some sort of capsule and then disappeared.”
The reported UFO sightings caused many people to flood the Internet with similar stories of seeing unexplained lights in the sky.

On X, Think Tank posted another video with the caption: ‘A video of last night’s mass sighting in California.’
The 22-second footage appeared to show a long, illuminated object.
In the background, a boy can be heard asking his mother, “What’s that, Mom? What’s that? Do you see this, Mom?” “Mom – do you see this?”
When the boy’s mother looked up and saw the strange object flashing in the sky, she shouted, “Holy shit!”
“What is that now?” she continued.
At one point someone can be heard running out of breath.
‘OMG, what is that? What is that? What the f*** is going on here?
He hears the same question repeated again: ‘What is that? What is that?’
Another X user, JWiseKangRa, claimed in a post that a number of people had reported UFO sightings in the Palmdale-Lancaster area, with at least six unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) seen zigzagging in the sky early Saturday morning.
During the 22-second footage, which appears to show a tall, illuminated object, a boy can be heard asking his mother, “What’s that, Mom? What’s that? Do you see this, Mom?” “Mom – do you see this?”

He also showed a video showing the red and blue illuminated balls quickly descending into the sky, but he said the video was unconfirmed.
“Panic has struck Palmdale and Lancaster as multiple residents report seeing UFOs streaking across the night sky. Witnesses claim to have seen not one, but *six* flying saucers, defying all logic and leaving the community in shock,” he wrote.
‘Ringbuurt apps are flooded with chilling stories: a bright light stationary in the sky and zigzagging through the air; a hovercraft sighted during a routine dog walk; and creepy objects counted in the sky. Authorities are now scrambling to investigate these baffling reports.’
His report was viewed more than 162,000 times, with many commenting on the seemingly bizarre supernatural activity.
A man who was in his backyard with his daughter at the time of the reported sighting wrote: ‘We both thought we saw a shooting star falling towards the east. It stopped very abruptly and zigzagged towards the north.
“I want to know if anyone else saw it or if we’re both going crazy,” the man wrote in part.
Another irritated viewer, who was walking her dog, wrote: ‘Guys. You won’t believe what I just saw.
‘At first I thought, oh my god, what a cool airplane Northrop has put together, but to my great disappointment it turned out to be a hovercraft.’
They continued, “Please tell me I’m not the only one who saw it!!!”

The video, posted on YouTube by Captain Ruud Van Pangemanan, shows two pilots flying a Boeing 747 from Saudi Arabia to Nigeria.
The pair described the objects as “extremely bright” and “freely moving” in the sky.
According to Captain Ruud, the alleged UFO balls appeared approximately 30 minutes into the flight, after a ‘normal take-off and flight’.
The video, titled ‘UFO Intercept Captain Ruud Flight with Boeing 747’, ends with the pilot convinced he has seen a UFO.
He says, ‘This is my experience when I saw something strange or a UFO.
