After taking a break from work during a holiday to the Greek Islands and Paris, the actress is set to return to work soon.
Sweeney has several projects lined up. Eden, directed by Ron Howard and starring Ana de Armas, Jude Law and Vanessa Kirby, is scheduled to debut in September at the Toronto International Film Festival.
This action-adventure film follows a group of people who turn away from society and move to the Galapagos Islands for a new beginning. But things don’t go as planned.
The story is based on the fact-based The Galapagos Affair: Satan Came to Eden.
The Emmy nominee also announced that she will return to the set in 2025 for production of the third season of Euphoria.
Sweeney revealed in an interview with Cosmopolitan that there will be a time jump in the series due to the hiatus, as production on season two wrapped in November 2021.
“There was a lot of time between season one and season two, but especially now with the time jump, it’s a new process for me,” she told the outlet.
“I’m just learning as I go and being open to whatever comes. But I’m also really excited. I love Cassie,” she said.
“She’s always such an exciting character to play, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what else happens in her life.”
