Tommy Fury enjoyed an idyllic dessert date with his ex-fiancée Molly-Mae Hague, just hours before the couple shared the shock news that they had split after five years.

The boxer gave no indication that his relationship was on the rocks as he posted a few messages on Snapchat documenting his outing.

One of the posts showed Tommy and Molly-Mae enjoying desserts together. The caption read: ‘Join us for dessert.’

Another post showed the athlete feeding his daughter Bambi milk.

She shared a shocking statement on Instagram Stories: ‘After five years together, I never thought our story would end, especially not like this. I am incredibly upset to announce that Tommy and I have come to an end.

‘I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me, now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.

“I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the past five years. You have all been part of our journey and I feel it is right to share this with you all.

Molly-Mae takes a break from social media and work as she tries to adjust to life without Tommy.

She added: ‘As I try to get through the coming days and weeks, please respect my privacy during this difficult time, I will be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x’

Less than an hour later, Tommy broke his silence on the split, writing on his Instagram Stories: ‘It is with a broken heart that I must announce that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship.

‘The last 5 years have led to the birth of our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, and I will be forever grateful to Molly for making me a father. Bambi is our priority.

The couple met on the fifth season of Love Island in 2019 and finished in second place.

Just weeks after their first villa date, they became officially engaged and a month after returning to the UK, they moved in together in Manchester.

The shocking news comes just two months after Molly-Mae told her Instagram fans that she and Tommy – the younger brother of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury – were planning to tie the knot in 2025 and that they were closer than ever since becoming parents to Bambi.

She said, “I think Bambi has brought us closer together. When we fight, it’s never really about her! Parenting together, especially lately, has been amazing.”

The couple got engaged in July 2023 when Tommy made a surprise proposal during a trip to Ibiza and gave Molly-Mae a ring worth £600,000.

Weeks before they got engaged, Molly-Mae candidly expressed her fears that Tommy was cheating because he had become overprotective of his phone.

In a clip she posted to her YouTube channel, she said: “My mind was going all over the place and I was like, ‘Why is he being so vague about his phone? Who is he talking to?’

‘My mind went to the worst option. I stared out the window as if I was in a sad movie.’

Last month, the couple appeared more in love than ever as Tommy gave Molly-Mae a sweet gift to mark their first wedding anniversary since his surprise proposal in Ibiza.

The influencer was surprised when her professional boxing partner came home with a large bouquet of red roses and lilies for her.

During an interview on Instagram, Molly-Mae denied claims that parenthood was putting a strain on the situation and even announced a sneak peek at the couple’s upcoming wedding date.

After a fan asked, “Have you and Tommy had any relationship problems since we had Bambi?”, the influencer was quick to wax lyrical about her partner.

She said: ‘I think Bambi has brought us closer together. When we fight, it’s never really about her! Parenting together, especially lately, has been amazing.’

When another asked, “Wedding in 2025?” she teased, “It seems like it,” before admitting the couple had no plans to have another child.

After being asked, “Baby No. 2?” Molly-Mae said, “Not anytime soon, the wedding first!”

Tommy admitted earlier this month that he was in no rush to get married after proposing to her in Ibiza in July 2023.

In a recent interview with Closer magazine, Tommy said, “We’re not putting any pressure on it. We’re enjoying being engaged and that time in our lives, so we’re not in a rush.”

He continued: ‘I don’t know. You can’t plan things like that. It just happens, right?’
