Aaron Rodgers HATED having brother Jordan on Bachelorette and got ‘f***ing tired’ of people hanging on his coattails amid rift with family, new biography reveals

Is Aaron Rodgers tired of having to provide for his family, or does the Super Bowl winner deserve some blame for his estrangement from his family?

The long, mysterious rift between Rodgers and his family is at the center of Ian O’Connor’s new biography of the New York Jets quarterback. But while Rodgers’ parents blame the friction on his ex-girlfriend Olivia Munn (something both he and the Hollywood actress deny), there are other alleged culprits.

In a selection from ‘Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers’, edited and republished by O’Connor’s New York Postbut other family members are also being blamed for the feud that reportedly began in 2014.

Without naming anyone specific, Craig Rigsbee, Rodgers’ former junior college football coach, pointed to the alleged freeloaders in the quarterback’s life. “They can’t be by your side your whole life.”

Rigsbee also shared a revealing story about Rodgers’ frustrations with his younger brother Jordan’s role on the ABC series Bachelorette.

The year was 2016, and Rodgers was competing in a celebrity golf tournament near Lake Tahoe when someone in the audience mentioned Jordan, a former CFL quarterback turned reality star.

“Hey, are you Jordan Rodgers’ brother?” Rigsbee recalled. “F***ing [Aaron] “He looked over there and was genuinely angry and shook his head.”

The problem, Rigsbee said, was that some people around Rodgers didn’t realize how far they were pushing him.

“People try to take advantage of you and pretty soon they do other shit, and then you get mad, and that’s a tough thing,” Rigsbee said, again without naming anyone. “Then they talk bad about you, like, ‘Oh, he’s arrogant,’ or, ‘Oh, he left me.’ No, he’s f–kin’ tired of taking care of your ass.”

And here Rigsbee brings Rodgers’ brothers, Jordan and Luke, back into the conversation.

‘All I’ve ever done is, I kind of fell into it [Aaron’s] “His brothers’ asses when they ran him into the ground in town one time,” Rigsbee told O’Connor. “I said, ‘That’s enough of that crap. Don’t say that crap in public and don’t talk about it now.'”

A spokesman for Jordan Rodgers did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment on Tuesday.

Rodgers and his younger brother began talking again in 2022, a source told People. However, the same source noted that there was still “a rift” at the time.

The eldest Rodgers, father Ed, has also been in touch with the Green Bay Packers legend.

It was in 2017, at the aforementioned celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, that the two first met again.

The book, which is set for release on August 20, explains that the four-time NFL MVP found his father in the crowd while the quarterback was looking for a bathroom. But despite the tension between the two, Aaron decided not to ignore the man who taught him how to play football.

“I could do a lot of things,” Rodgers is quoted as saying in the book. “But I just thought, ‘What’s the best thing right now, and what gift can I give him?’ Because I love him. I have no animosity toward him, even with everything that’s been said and done.”

Ed, a chiropractor from Northern California, had gone to the event in Tahoe hoping to see his son.

“It had been so long since we even looked at each other,” Ed told O’Connor. “I just froze.”

Aaron kept it simple.

“Hi Dad,” he said before hugging his father, O’Connor said.

“I love you,” Aaron said.

“I love you too,” Ed replied.

Of course, Aaron still had to play a round of golf, so the reunion didn’t last long, but according to Ed it was “awesome.”

Aaron agreed that it was “a special moment.”

Later, Aaron told his friend and caddie Jordan Russell, “I think this is what was supposed to happen.”

The cause of the friction between Rodgers and his parents remains unclear, although Ed and Darla blame the animosity on Aaron’s ex-girlfriend, Olivia Munn.

However, both Munn and Rodgers deny that she is the cause of problems between him and his parents.

A spokesman for Munn declined to comment when contacted by DailyMail.com.

Rodgers strongly denied to O’Connor that Munn’s presence had caused a rift between him and his parents.

The Super Bowl winner even claimed that his parental issues predated his relationship with Munn in 2014, telling O’Connor that she “had nothing to do with all those years before that.”
