An Australian cleaner has revealed her secret weapon for getting rid of mould, claiming the cheap purchase has been ‘life-changing’.
Cleaning guru Anita Birges shared how she created the ‘most moldy closet’ [she] ever seen’ looked as good as new in less than five minutes.
The mother used Bunnings’ 30 Seconds Mould Off ($14.95) cleaning solution to remove spores from a contaminated pantry.
The mold crept up the walls and along the shelves and kept coming back no matter how many cleaning products were used.
Anita’s dramatic before and after photos showed that you don’t always need professional help to remove mold.
Other solutions include The Pink Stuff ($7.99), pumice cleansing stones, and more.
You can also use a homemade vinegar solution to remove mold.
“The first step is to put everything in perspective so we can assess exactly what we’re dealing with. And believe me, that’s not a pretty sight,” Anita said in a video.

Anita put on her mask and gloves and opened the window to get ahead of the cleaning.
“I like to start at the top and work my way down the cabinet walls, making sure the solution is well covered,” she said as she sprayed the solution liberally all over.

Anita also said the best part of the process was that you didn’t have to scrub anything – you just wipe it off with a microfiber cloth.
