Vincent Kompany swears at Burnley star FIFTEEN TIMES in furious relentless rant uncovered by behind-the-scenes documentary, as fans claim his anger ‘won’t go down well at Bayern Munich’

  • Vincent Kompany got angry during a Burnley training session last season
  • Footage showed Kompany swearing at Johann Berg Gudmundsson 15 times
  • Kompany has since left the Clarets and is now the manager of Bayern Munich

Vincent Kompany was known for his attacking play during his two years as Burnley manager, but behind-the-scenes documentary footage reveals he was also no stranger to handing out the ball with a hairdryer.

Each of Kompany’s two seasons as manager at Turf Moor were extensively filmed and the footage was later used in the Sky documentary ‘Mission to Burnley’.

Kompany’s first season in charge was a resounding success, ending with the Clarets winning the EFL Championship with 101 points.

However, Burnley struggled after promotion and were ultimately relegated last season after winning just five of their 38 Premier League games under Kompany. Kompany left Lancashire in May to become Bayern Munich’s new manager.

Last week, episode three of season two of ‘Mission to Burnley’ aired, which featured a heated argument between Kompany and one of his players.

Season two, episode three of ‘Mission to Burnley’ featured a training ground altercation between manager Vincent Kompany and midfielder Johann Berg Gudmundsson

An 89-second clip from the episode has since gone viral on social media. The clip begins with Kompany telling the audience: ‘You can’t say “I want confidence”. You can’t say “I want results”. You have to live a certain way to get results.

“Then it’s about control. Controlling your emotions is walking that fine line of being passionate and driven, but never reckless. People who behave that way become winners.”

Footage then cuts to Kompany aggressively confronting Johann Berg Gudmundsson during a training session last season. Kompany can be heard swearing at Gudmundsson 15 times in less than a minute.

‘Joey, don’t f***ing test me,’ Kompany screams. ‘Don’t f***ing test me. Enough of that f***ing moaning. Enough of that f***ing moaning. Go f***ing play football. You have to f***ing work for everything. F***ing play!

“How many times do I have to tell you? Stop that moaning.”

Gudmundsson then walks away from Kompany, but the former Man City defender follows him and continues to verbally attack him. ‘What? Do you have something you want to communicate to the team? Do you want to communicate something, you big boy? You’re a big boy, do you want to talk?’

Kompany and Gudmundsson then face each other. Gudmundsson says to his boss: ‘I just said “can we finish that attack?”.

But a furious Kompany hits back: ‘No, you whine about everything!’ Gudmundsson asks: ‘What did I whine about today?’

Kompany tells him: ‘Body language is f***ing s*** and I don’t accept it. Play! F***ing hell man.’

The fight appears to be over as the two men walk apart, but Kompany then runs back to Gudmundsson and shouts: ‘It’s f***ing life or death. F***ing play!’

Kompany eventually stops yelling at Gudmundsson and instead starts muttering to himself, “F***ing… I’ve had f***ing enough of this!”

One fan tweeted: ‘A b***ocking I have no problem with. But to belittle and insult someone, especially in front of everyone? Horrible.’

Another fan accused Kompany of ‘classic bullying’, while a third wrote: ‘I have heard from several people that Kompany has created a toxic atmosphere in the club.’

Other commentators suggested that Kompany will have to change his behaviour if he is to succeed at Bayern.

“He’s going to have a tough time against the big names at Bayern, isn’t he?” was written on one of the players.

Another fan wrote: ‘I love Vinny but if he does this at Bayern it won’t work lol’.

A third predicted: ‘I give him another 6 months before players like Kimmich, Muller and Neuer send him out the door.’
