Reese Witherspoon, 48, gushes over her son Deacon Phillippe, 20, and how their ‘summer nights’ together are ‘the best’
Reese Witherspoon is spending time with her eldest son Deacon Phillippe, 20, in Los Angeles this summer before he returns to New York for college.
On Friday, the 48-year-old Legally Blonde star shared two portraits of herself and her son chilling by the ocean on Instagram.
“Summer nights with this guy are the best @deaconphillippe,” Reese raved in the caption.
Deacon is currently studying music at New York University and lives with friends in a two-story apartment in Greenwich Village.
And Reese looked just as proud a mom as she smiled next to the young man in Friday’s photos.

As for Reese, she looked gorgeous in a V-neck sweater and with her long blonde hair pulled back behind her ears.
The night before, Reese had brought Deacon as her date to the premiere of her Big Little Lies co-star Zoë Kravitz’s new psychological thriller Blink Twice in LA.
Reese looked at her son in admiration as they walked the red carpet together.
The actress looked chic in a black pantsuit with short, wide sleeves and an avant-garde collarless neckline. She completed her look with a pair of matching black open heels and wore her hair pulled back, revealing her glittering earrings.
His son, who looked the spitting image of his father Ryan Phillippe, enjoyed a movie night with his mother wearing a navy velvet shirt with white pants, matching sneakers and glasses around his neck.
In addition to her eldest son, Witherspoon also has a doppelganger, daughter Ava Phillippe, 24, to whom she was married from 1999 to 2008.

Though Blink Twice marks Kravitz’s first time directing a feature film, it stars her boyfriend Channing Tatum as a tech billionaire who lures women back to his shady island.
After running for two seasons from 2017 to 2019, HBO will soon air a long-awaited third season of Big Little Lies.
Fellow show colleague and co-producer Nicole Kidman previously said that they operate ‘fast and furious’ about the upcoming episode.
Author Liane Moriarty, who wrote the original 2014 novel on which the series is based, is hard at work on a new book to serve as source material for the TV drama.

Blink Twice, also starring Naomi Ackie, Christian Slater, Simon Rex, Adria Arjona, Kyle MacLachlan, Haley Joel Osment, Geena Davis, Simon Rex and Alia Shawkat, will be released in the U.S. by Amazon MGM Studios on August 23.
