Blake Lively used her OWN jewelry and $3K crystal boots while also borrowing clothes from pal Gigi Hadid for It Ends With Us
Blake Lively raided her own jewelry collection and borrowed clothes from her friend Gigi Hadid to use in her new film It Ends With Us.
The 37-year-old plays a florist named Lily Bloom, whose marriage to Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni) goes from passionate to violent.
To transition into her character, Blake re-teamed with Eric Daman, her longtime costume designer from her role as the star of Gossip Girl.
“Blake brought her own jewelry, her Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. I didn’t have the budget for that. She has incredible taste and incredible stuff,” Eric cheered to People.
In the film, she also wears her own pair of suede-trimmed crystal fishnet boots from Saint Laurent, which retail online for $2,990.

She also borrowed gear from her friend Gigi Hadid, who she was photographed with last month while attending the premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine.
It Ends With Us is based on a novel by Colleen Hoover and directed by Justin Baldoni, who also plays the lead character’s abusive husband.
The cast includes Big Mouth star Jenny Slate, former host Hasan Minhaj and Mapplethorpe actor Brandon Sklenar.
“A lot of the jewelry came from her personal collection. She would carry her beautiful little jewelry box in a bag and say, ‘What do you think of this?'” Eric said.
‘I think, I can’t really talk. You open [the jewelry box] “It’s like the Holy Grail,” said the veteran costume designer.
“How many Lorraine Schwartz diamonds are in there? And why do you just carry that in a bag? It’s so amazing.”
Lorraine herself, who has worked for celebrity clients including Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian, said: ‘It was so exciting to see all that beautiful jewellery in the film.’
She added: ‘Blake is the ultimate jewellery girl and she is my and my sister Ofira’s muse. Over the years we have been lucky enough to make her jewellery and know her.’
Lorraine continued, “She’s family and has become a huge creative inspiration to both of us. I love that our pieces that she wore in the film are from her own personal collection that she has collected over the years.”
She also appears in the film wearing her own personal pair of suede-trimmed crystal fishnet boots by Saint Laurent
“I later had another fitting with Blake and got to see the amazing, literally to die for, shoe closet,” her costumière noted, “I can’t even tell you how amazing it was.”

Blake has confessed to stealing a few “shirts and socks” from her movie star husband Ryan Reynolds, with whom she was pictured at the premiere of It Ends With Us on Tuesday.
It Ends With Us, which hits theaters Friday, has received a lukewarm response from critics, with a 59% rating on Rotten tomatoes.
Blake first rose to stardom on the CW series Gossip Girl from 2007 to 2012, in a cast that included Kristen Bell, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley.
As the stylish and spoiled Upper East Side teen Serena van der Woodsen, Blake wore a series of stylish outfits put together by Eric.
However, when they worked together again on It Ends With Us, they decided to approach Blake’s wardrobe in a more budget-friendly way.
Blake has confessed to stealing a few “shirts and socks” from her movie star husband Ryan Reynolds and scattering them “randomly” throughout the film.
She also used her role to show off items from Guest In Residence, the new clothing line of her supermodel friend Gigi Hadid.
“I have a couple of Gigi Hadid sweaters in the movie,” Blake said. “She has this line, Guest in Residence, but she would also run through and I would be like, ‘I want this one,’ because of all these really cool patterns and stuff, and she’d be like, ‘I have this one. You can wear mine.’ So a couple of those.”
“Gigi sent us a lot of amazing stuff from her Guest in Residence collection, which we used in several looks,” Eric explains.

“And we see Ryan’s plaid cardigan in a Lily Blooms store scene. It all adds such a personal touch to the character. I love that Blake is so open and willing to share her (and her husband’s and her BFFs!) beauty with us. I’m truly grateful.”
Blake also wore her own crystal fishnet Saint Laurent boots, as well as two from her personal stash of Louboutins.
“I later went for a fitting at Blake’s and got to visit the amazing, literally to die for shoe closet. I can’t even tell you how amazing it was,” Eric shared.
“She brought them in, and what am I going to do? Like, ‘I don’t know, that feels like middle management. No, it’s not,'” she said.
“The producers and other people had other ideas. She’s wearing fucking crystal YSL boots and you’re going to make a pan of her as she walks in.”
