Gavin Newsom has cast doubt on Donald Trump’s claim that he once flew in a helicopter with Kamala Harris’ former lover Willie Brown and that the plane had to make an emergency landing.

Newsom claimed that he was also in the helicopter and that it was Jerry Brown, the former governor of California, who was also on board, and that there was no near-crash.

Gavin Newsom calls Trump’s helicopter story ‘BS’

Donald Trump told a dramatic story on Thursday about how he was on a plane with Kamala Harris and his ex-boyfriend Willie Brown when the plane almost “crashed.”

However, California Governor Gavin Newsom said the story was “complete nonsense.”

Newsom claimed he was in a helicopter with Trump and Jerry Brown, the former governor of California, in 2018.

Willie Brown, now 90, said he had never flown in a helicopter with Trump.

Newsom said there was no emergency landing.

Doug Emhoff celebrated the 40th anniversary of the attack on the Chez Jo Goldenberg restaurant in Paris with a solemn ceremony and bought a falafel sandwich afterwards.

Emhoff, who is in Paris to lead the American delegation to the closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games, visited the restaurant in the heart of the Jewish quarter where an attack took place on August 9, 1982, by the Palestinian militant Abu Nidal Organization, a group that split from the PLO.

Six people were killed and 22 were injured.

“There is a huge increase in anti-Semitism going on in the world, including here in France,” Emhoff said in his speech. “It is a crisis.”

“Anti-Semitism is more than just a threat to the well-being of Jews. It is also a threat to democracy and democratic ideals.”

He joined Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo in lighting a candle for each of the dead. The attackers were never found.

Millions have been spent on the ad wars since President Biden’s dramatic elimination from the presidential election

By Sarah Ewall-Wice, Senior U.S. Political Reporter

Both Democrats and Republicans have spent millions on political advertising for the presidential election since President Biden left office last month.

According to data from AdImpact, both parties spent more than $20 million on TV advertising in states where the election will be decisive between July 21 and this weekend.

Both parties spent the most money on TV ads here, showing how important the state is to winning in November.

Democrats spend more in the other two so-called “blue wall” states: in Michigan they spend more than $10 million, compared to Republicans’ $7 million, and in Wisconsin they spend more than $8 million, compared to Republicans’ $6 million.

At the same time, Republicans outspent Democrats in Georgia, $10 million to $6.5 million, and in Arizona, $7.5 million to $3.4 million for Democrats.

Nationally, Democrats spent $14 million on Olympic advertising, while Republicans spent nothing at all.

But one of the most dramatic differences is in digital advertising. Democrats spent a whopping $42 million on Facebook and Google, while Republicans spent just over $5 million.

Kamala Harris campaign forced to edit Tim Walz biography after flood of questions about his military service

The campaign for Vice President Kamala Harris has been forced to update the online biography of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz after a glaring error about his military history.

Walz retired in 2005 after 24 years in the National Guard to run for Congress. He served as a command sergeant major, but was demoted to master sergeant upon leaving the Army because he had not completed the course required for the higher rank.

Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown Responds to Donald Trump’s Claim That They Had Near-Death Experience in a Helicopter That ‘Crashed’

Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, 90, said Donald Trump’s claim that they had a near-death experience “never happened.”

Republican presidential candidate Trump told reporters at a news conference at Mar-A-Lago that he and Brown were in a helicopter that had to make an emergency landing and that both men thought “this might be the end.”

However, according to Brown, he and Trump were never in the same helicopter and he was instead engaged in his best “creative fiction.”
