Marc Anthony’s Dominican Republic home catches FIRE in terrifying incident with three bungalows destroyed in blaze

A terrifying incident occurred at Marc Anthony’s home in the Dominican Republic on Thursday.

The 930-square-meter compound of the 55-year-old singer was set ablaze by a local television crew, completely burning out the roof of the house, known as El Oasis.

Firefighters were on the scene battling the blaze, which sent plumes of black smoke into the air.

The singer’s representative confirmed to TMZ that Marc and his family and staff were all safe. The Vivir Mi Vida star, his wife Nadia Ferreira, 24, and their seven children were not home at the time of the fire,

They revealed that the fire started ‘on one side of the property in an area where bungalows are located. The main building sustained no damage and firefighters quickly brought the fire under control.’

The representative revealed that three bungalows were burnt to the ground, while one survived the fire. A lounge area at the side of the property was also burnt down.

‘The main building suffered no damage and the fire department has everything under control and has started an investigation.’

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

Anthony has expressed his gratitude to the emergency services for their quick response.

El Oasis is a complex in the La Romana district of Casa de Campo that can sleep 24 people and features two swimming pools, cabanas and pavilions, according to AD.

Anthony bought the woman in 2014 with his then-wife Shannon De Lima. They separated in 2017.

He and Nadia announced on Valentine’s Day 2023 that they were expecting their first child together.

They shared their happy news with a photo of her growing baby bump, which they posted together on their Instagram accounts.

Marc placed a tattooed hand on her growing belly, while she placed her own hand on his, showing off her enormous diamond engagement ring.

“The best Valentine’s Day gift ever!!!,” she enthused in her caption, adding in Spanish, “Thank you God for this great blessing in our lives.”

The lovebirds’ pregnancy announcement came just two weeks after they tied the knot in a lavish, star-studded ceremony in Miami in January 2023. The baby was born in June.

Marc has seven children, including 15-year-old twins Max and Emme with his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, 54.

Jennifer and Marc married in 2004 and divorced in 2014.
