‘She was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, fiancée and friend, she was vibrant, full of life, love and laughter.

‘Shelby was incredibly protective of her loved ones and dreamed of having more adventures and travel.

‘She had a smile that could brighten even the darkest of nights and a laugh that was so infectious you couldn’t help but laugh along with her.

‘Her independence and courage in all she did and still wanted to achieve will live on through those closest to her. She was taken from us far too soon and will be deeply missed, thought of daily and loved always.

‘We would like to thank everyone who supported us and laid flowers.

“We ask that our family and those closest to Shelby be given the privacy and respect to process the immeasurable grief we feel at the loss of a loved one who was brighter than the sun.”
