Kansas City Chiefs heiress Ava Hunt is rushed to hospital for emergency surgery after falling down a MOUNTAIN while hiking
The Kansas City Chiefs have suffered their first major injury of the pre-season, but the 18-year-old daughter of team owner Clark Hunt is thankfully on the mend after emergency surgery.
Ava Hunt, the youngest daughter of Chiefs owner Clark and his beauty queen wife Tavia, suffered a serious injury this week after a fall while hiking in the mountains. She has since undergone successful surgery as a result.
This little thing fell off the mountain today while hiking [and] ‘went to the ER for surgery on a deep wound,’ Tavia revealed on Instagram alongside a smiling photo of herself and Ava. ‘It’s been a long day. Praise God she is on the mend and smiling already. Please pray for a speedy recovery [and] full recovery!’
The SMU cheerleader is already pleased about the painful situation.
After being released from the hospital, she enjoyed lounging on the couch while listening to Simone Biles’ Paris Olympics highlights.

“Update: surgery went very smoothly and I’m back home watching my favorite @simonebiles!!,” she wrote on Instagram.
In the accompanying photo, Biles’ balance beam routine can be seen on a television screen in the background, floating above Ava’s wrapped and raised leg.
“I’m feeling great (but maybe still a little drugged up),” she continued. “Thank you for all your sweet messages and prayers.”
It’s unclear if the injury will affect her status on SMU’s cheerleading team. She is currently listed as a team member on the group’s Instagram page.
Ava is the youngest child of Clark, 59, and Tavia, 53. Her older sister, Gracie, followed in their mother’s footsteps by becoming Miss Kansas in 2021.
Clark is the grandson of oil magnate H.L. Hunt and son of Lamar, a Pro Football Hall of Famer who helped launch the old AFL. It is Lamar’s name that adorns the AFC championship trophy to this day.
And like Ava, Clark and Lamar attended SMU in Dallas.
According to Forbes, Clark, owner of the two-time reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, is worth an estimated $1.4 billion, while the family is worth a total of $24.8 billion.
The Hunt Group, the family-owned company, also owns MLS-FC Dallas.
