iPhone 16 Pro colors: All the rumors about the Pro and Pro Max
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will undoubtedly excel in a number of areas, from powerful chipsets to capable cameras and more. But will their colors impress?
Typically, Apple only offers a limited number of color options for its Pro phones, and they’re usually quite stylish and understated.
Will this trend continue for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max? Or will Apple offer a wider, brighter selection? We donβt know for sure yet, but thanks to leaks we have a pretty good idea.
The colors below have all been tipped as possible hues, and in the past Apple has offered the same selection of colors on the Pro model as it does on the Pro Max. So we’re assuming that if any of the hues below are offered, it will be offered on both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Rose
The most interesting color rumored for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max is pink. This was previously mentioned by leaker ShrimpApplePro and in a later leak about the iPhone 16 Pro colors by Ming-Chi Kuo (a leaker with a good track record).
This shade is interesting for a couple of reasons. First, itβs probably the brightest and most playful of the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max shades from what weβve heard so far, and second, itβs not a color you can get on the iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro Max.
That said, Apple is no stranger to offering pink or rose gold shades on some of its other phones, so we might look to those for an indication of what this rose-tinted look might look like. The pink iPhone 15 above is one possibility, for example, though the leak from ShrimpApplePro suggests it could come in more of a yellow or bronze color.
Gray / Natural Titanium

Next up we have a gray shade, leaked by the same two sources, which Ming-Chi Kuo says may be sold as Natural Titanium.
That’s a color you can already get in the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, as you can see above, so it could be a similar shade. That said, a leaked image of iPhone 16 Pro dummy units in three different shades (which you can also see above) shows a slightly darker version of the color.
Either way, aside from the fact that it was used last year, this is a fairly unusual color for a phone, but it’s a smart, understated shade that fits in with the colors Apple typically chooses for its Pro phones.
White silver
Now we come to the more conventional colors that are rumored. White (or possibly silver) is next.
Specifically, ShrimpApplePro has mentioned a white tint, though they claim it could be similar to the silver iPhone 14 Pro pictured above. Though despite the name, it’s actually more white than silver.
Ming-Chi Kuo claims these rumors are about the color silver instead of white, but then again, Apple’s version of silver is often white anyway.
We also got a look at what it might look like in a leaked photo of iPhone 16 Pro Max dummy units, which you can see below, which also show a noticeable white tint.
Space Black
Finally, there is also a rumor that there is a black color in circulation. According to ShrimpApplePro, this color would be similar to the Space Black iPhone 14 Pro (pictured above). Ming-Chi Kuo has also talked about this color.
However, this may not be the iPhone 14 Pro version at all, but rather a darker, deeper black color, judging by the leaked dummy photo of the iPhone 16 Pro Max further down.
Either way, black is still a popular color choice. It won’t immediately draw attention, but it won’t look out of place either.
