Kate Moss’ secrets to looking fabulous on the beach at 50: Five of the model’s top tricks include ice plunges, adjusting to jet lag (and one tip proves she is just like the rest of us!)
Kate Moss proved she’s still in shape as she was spotted with her daughter Lila in Ibiza last weekend, where they enjoyed a sun-soaked holiday.
The 50-year-old model wore a striking £125 black Gottex bandeau swimsuit, which accentuated her supermodel body as she lounged on the beach.
Over the years, Kate has provided insight into how she stays looking so good, sharing tips and tricks to maintain her youthful appearance.
One of her secrets also proves that she’s just like the rest of us: her form-fitting swimwear features a shaping panel that keeps everything in place.
Even before she goes on holiday, Kate tries to combat the looming jet lag by immediately adjusting to the new time zone and drinking plenty of fluids on the plane.

She told Net A Porter: ‘I stay hydrated during the flight and try to eat only light food. I find it helpful to adjust to the new time zone once I arrive, so I try to stay up until my usual bedtime.
‘I recently had red light LED therapy and use the Talika Time Control+ device. It’s great because it’s small and portable, and I definitely see an improvement in my skin. I also have rose quartz and jade gua sha tools that I use.’
Kate also uses other beauty tips, such as immersing her face in ice-cold water and softening her under-eye bags with cucumber slices.
She previously spoke about how she deals with a ‘bad face day’, saying: ‘MMy old trick is to dunk my face in a bowl of ice cold water and cucumber slices. It instantly firms up and all the bags disappear.
‘I then use Cosmoss Golden Nectar facial oil drops with my gua sha. Together they give your skin that extra glow and are great for detoxification and lymphatic drainage.’
Kate also says she should stay out of the sun, after her friend and make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury previously warned her.
She said Gratitude: ‘Charlotte Tilbury said I shouldn’t go out in the sun, but that’s because she’s a ginger so she knows. I’ve been ignoring her for a bit, but now I’m not taking any chances!’
Kate also shared that she keeps her body fresh by doing juice cleanses for three weeks throughout the year.
Other beauty tips Kate likes to use include dunking her face in ice-cold water and removing bags under her eyes with cucumber slices.

She said, ‘I juice. I do a week-long juice cleanse at least three times a year. I love it. I feel great. And then I have so much energy! Everyone else is like, ‘Please…shhhh…’ Oh my god, I have so much energy I’m jumping off the walls!’
Mother and daughter have flown to the Balearic party island for the summer holidays. Lila’s boyfriend Yoni Helbitz, an e-commerce coordinator and fashion marketer, is also there.
During the tour, the catwalk veteran completed her look with a pair of statement Wayfarer sunglasses and wore her hair in a loose bun.
Accompanied by her mother, 21-year-old Lila turned heads in a brown string bikini as she played in the ocean with her long-term boyfriend Yoni.
Last October, Kate revealed the secrets to her youthful complexion in a rare interview after launching her own wellness brand COSMOSS.

But one of Kate’s biggest beauty secrets comes at a price: the tea bags cost a whopping £20 a box.
Each tin contains 20 tea bags and each bag is said to contain hibiscus flower, ground bay leaf and ginger root.
Kate wore a gold metallic shirt jacket, black wide-leg pants and gold strappy heels for the online chat.
The ’90s star gave the rare interview as part of her latest Sacred Mist launch.
When asked about her favorite ritual, Kate said her skincare comes first.
She said, “I like to start and end my day by taking care of my skin. I use my golden nectar oil to give myself a facial massage.”
When asked what makes her calm, Kate replied, “Spending time with myself, walking in my garden, doing yoga.”
