Eighties pop icon is barely recognisable as she takes to the stage in a tiny black dress while headlining Rewind Festival
Eighties pop star Tiffany Darwish looked almost unrecognisable as she headlined Rewind Festival North in Cheshire last weekend.
The 52-year-old singer left her fans speechless after her incredible performance at the festival after four decades in the music industry.
Tiffany rose to fame after the release of Tommy James and the Shondell’s I Think We’re Alone Now, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks.
The singer, buoyed by the success of her tour The Beautiful You: Celebrating The Good Life Shopping Mall Tour ’87, found success with the follow-up song Could’ve Been, which topped the charts for two weeks in early 1988.
Other notable songs of hers that reached the top 10 included 1988’s All This Time and I Saw Him Standing There.
During her successful career, Tiffany has achieved two number 1 hits on the charts and released an impressive 11 studio albums.

Earlier this year, the American star was unmasked as the Eiffel Tower on the British version of The Masked Singer and before leaving she sang her iconic 1987 cover.
This weekend her audience was the Rewind Festival North, where she was joined by fellow musicians Gabrielle, Kim Wilde, Boyzlife, Billy Ocean and Midge Ure.
She took the stage in a tiny black minidress and wore her signature red locks loose, teamed with a pair of chunky boots.
In a message the festival posted about her performance of I Think We’re Alone Now, fans who attended the show praised her performance.
They said things like, “She was amazing and the whole weekend was fantastic,” “She was great,” and “I love Tiffany.”
Tiffany’s Masked Singer performances unfortunately came to an end after she entered the competition as a Parisian landmark: the Eiffel Tower.
Tiffany barely made it through the first hurdle of the semi-finals, as she had to wait for the first elimination in the last two matches.
Shortly afterwards she released the singles ‘Could’ve Been’ and ‘I Saw Him Standing There’, a cover version of the Beatles’ ‘I Saw Her Standing There’.

However, her success on the show came to an abrupt end when she was asked to leave the competition after singing Ed Sheeran’s Castle On The Hill.
Despite Tiffany singing beautifully with her group of mice, she was voted off by the studio audience and narrowly missed out on the chance to perform in the final.
The judges weren’t as far off as they thought: Lisa Stansfield, Lindsay Lohan, Vanessa Paradis, Tracy Chapman and judge Jonathon had a toss-up between Debbie Gibson and Tiffany, but chose the wrong choice.
Of her time on the show, Tiffany said, “I had a blast, thank you. I love Eiffel Tower. She’s so beautiful.”
Last year, Tiffany said she felt lucky to be alive after a terrifying road accident in which a blown truck tire hit the car she was driving.
She said TMZ at the time of the accident: ‘I am extremely happy and grateful, because a serious accident could have happened.’

Tiffany was driving on Interstate 65 in Nashville in November 2023 when a tire bounced across the lanes and slammed into the front of her car.
After the initial contact, the tire became stuck under the driver’s side of her vehicle, the news agency reported.
According to the publication, the vehicle Tiffany was driving had a cracked transmission, torn panels and multiple dents.
The singer made headlines in November 2021 when she began abusing her fans during her performance of her biggest hit during a show in Lake Park, Florida.
She said, ‘F*** you, guys. This is my hit… I’m gonna sing it good!’
She later said she thought the incident had caused her to have a panic attack.
“I’m so sorry, I panicked. It’s not often that I love my voice. When I got on stage, I had a real panic attack, a breakdown,” she said in a clip on social media.
She said she apologized to fans for the incident and thanked them for their support.
