USA runner goes viral for the size of his UNDERWEAR – before winning his 400m heat at 2024 Paris Olympics!

Olympic running fans were surprised by American track and field star Quincy Hall and his choice of underwear.

Cameras filmed Hall putting on his tracksuit in the belly of the Stade de France before taking part in his 400m heat.

Hall was spotted donning the suit, but one user on Twitter was surprised that the runner opted to wear a looser pair of boxer briefs instead of a streamlined variation.

“Tell me this isn’t the craziest thing you’ve seen at the Olympics so far. Quincy Hall with the baggy boxers under the tracksuit,” the user wrote while filming the broadcast, adding, “He can’t possibly win.”

Hall saw the post and quoted it on Twitter, saying, “Yeah, country boy draws a crowd.”

While some may find it funny, Hall’s choice of underwear was clearly no hindrance in the 400 meters.

Hall was so confident of his result that he was caught watching the heat during the race.

Hall did indeed win his heat, which was easy for him. With a time of 44.28 seconds, that was enough for him.

Hall won a bronze medal at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest and was part of the gold-winning 4x400m relay team, along with Vernon Norwood, Justin Robinson and Rai Benjamin.

Earlier this year, Hall set his personal record in the 400 meters in Monaco: 43.80.

Hall is now scheduled to compete in the 400-meter semifinals, which will take place tomorrow at 1:35 p.m. ET.
