This hidden beach has been dubbed the best in the world – here’s how to find it
A hidden beach on the south coast of Western Australia is being described by travellers as the best in the world.
Set in the rugged beauty of the Two Peoples Bay Nature Reserve near Albany, Little Beach has been a local secret until now.
Described as the best way to escape the winter darkness, this swimming spot is at the top of every beach lover’s bucket list.
The protected beach with turquoise, crystal clear water has bright white sand and large black boulders.
It can be reached via a short walk from the car park at the end of a long, winding road that connects the site to Albany, 40 minutes away.
A nearby waterfall cascades into the ocean, further impressing visitors, with many calling it “the most beautiful beach they’ve ever seen.”
Samantha, a British expat living in Australia who goes by _thetravelher, shared a video of the remote beach in Western Australia that has already been liked 1.2 million times on TikTok. Others agree the video seems too good to be true.
“The beach looks like a painting, the water is breathtaking,” said one visitor.
“I would give it a 168 out of 100,” agreed another.
Little Beach is a 40-minute drive from the WA city of Albany
Iconic giant boulders lie scattered across pristine white sand next to water so blue it’s ‘unbelievable’ – visitors to the beach find the rocks harder to climb than they look

Little Beach and nearby Waterfall Beach are both secluded and accessible after a drive and a short walk
Fans of this ‘hidden gem’ loved how unspoiled and secluded from the rest of the world it felt.
“What I like about beaches like this is that they are barely developed. There are no cafes or houses nearby to disturb the sense of privacy,” said one visitor.
Beachgoers advised others to bring a packed lunch and something to drink so they could spend a few wonderful hours enjoying the water and surroundings.
Waterfall Beach is on the other side of Little Beach, a short walk and a few steps away. According to the lucky ones who visit, the beach is just as beautiful.
“A truly breathtaking, secluded bay,” said one woman.
“More difficult to get to than Little Beach, and therefore much more charming,” said another.
Others said that Waterfall Beach was a little more sheltered than Little Beach and that the calmer water made it especially suitable for swimming with children.
The nearby port city of Albany also offers “scenic” countryside hikes, such as the Bald Head Walk Trail.
The 12.5km hike follows the narrow ridge of the Flinders Peninsula and is recommended for experienced hikers.
Nearby Torrindup National Park is home to even more stunning natural attractions, including The Blowholes and The Gap.
The Gap is a viewing platform located 40 meters above sea level.
Visitors who are not afraid of heights can enjoy breathtaking views of wild waves crashing against a rocky coastline.
Travelers who visit this pristine beach destination dream of returning.
“I will definitely come back,” said one woman.
